Interesting news. Always nice to see the club doing well financially.
Saw this yesterday on BBC - Bold claims from the Bridge (http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/thereporters/mihirbose/2008/02/are_the_blues_in_the_black_1.html) - From Mihir Bose (BBC Sports Editor)
"The Premier League table may show Chelsea third and Arsenal first, but in financial terms the message from Stamford Bridge is that it is Manchester United first, Chelsea second and Arsenal trailing further behind."

Does anyone know the terms of sale for the Highbury Square development?
From the club's announcement: "The Highbury Square development is 95%
pre-sold and we are at an advanced stage of negotiations for the sale of Queensland Road; together the two sites are expected to generate turnover, as sales reach legal completion, over the next two financial years in excess of £350 million."
I assume that means people have signed sales agreements and put down a deposit of maybe 5%. Is there much chance of the club not collecting the rest? There have been large numbers of condominium developments in the United States, specifically Las Vegas and Miami, where potential buyers have refused to go through with their purchases, walking away from the deposits. Has anything similar gone on in London?
