Earnie will ask you for your name and telephone number, even if you just want to buy batteries.

Stewart should fill out an application while he's there, because he's going to need a new job shortly.

You will also be pressured to purchase a warranty for the batteries.

That is extremely geographically convenient. :D
We had lunch at that Bailey's place a couple of weeks ago and we had the most abyssmal service ever. The food was okay so we'll probably give it another shot.
The walls are stained plywood - very cheesy looking. Maybe they were going for an English pub look but what they got was a Home-Depot-on-a-budget look. Boatloads of televisions, though.

So it's kind of like going to Summers but bigger and probably less soccer friendly.

I can't believe I forgot this part - one of the people who I was with the day we had lunch there found a piece of latex glove in her hamburger. In supposed compensation for which they gave her a free dessert, which she didn't even want.

May I suggest the Blackened Chicken Latex Chef Salad?
Or perhaps the Latex Lasagna?
Good stuff.......

Wow. I was going to try this place out sometime this week. Now, I won't bother.

I'm sure that we'll try it again someday soon. We usually give a place two tries before we scratch it off the lunch list permanently. In fact, we almost went there today but wound up at Flat Top instead.
So am I gonna be like the only person who shows up at this radio shack?

Um, it was yesterday so I'd say yeah.

So did anyone actually go to this event? With the bad publicity, lack of enthusiasm these days for Earnie, and relative remoteness of the location, I suspect the turnout was weak.

I quibble with your characterization of the location as "remote." It's a block from the Orange Line, a half mile from I66 and only a few miles from DC.

Not to gross anyone out, but are you sure the latex was a piece of a glove and not from some other latex article?
