Kuyt's was a lucky bounce, yes. But Gerrard's was a good goal.
We were also unlucky to not get a couple of penalties. Vieira's handball was blatant, and I don't see how both the ref and his assistant missed it.
Good luck tomorrow, guys.

ill give you gerrards, but inter shouldnt have been down to 10 in the first place. nonetheless, you guys played well, and proved how good you are in europe

Lucky or not you dominated them and deserved the victory, well earned.

True, Inter were very poor, shockingly so, even before Materazzi was sent off. Liverpool definitely deserved the win.

Hopefully we learn something from today's game.
Inter have already wrapped up the title, yet stumbled to a mediocre team fighting for CL qualification.
Milan have very much become the liverpool of italy, and we need to be wary of slipping up as league positions count for nothing.

I really thought Real missed a few chances that they usually put away but Liverpool really took it to Inter and I think that is how we need to look at attacking Milan. I refuse to look at Milans standings in their league and think they are anything but defending champions.

Benitez was quoted as saying he knew his team could get past Inters TEN men. Now thats confidence inspiring for his team....

Anyone else watch Roma-Real? I thought it was a very entertaining match. Interesting to see Robben back, and I thought Drenthe looked much better than last time I saw him.
Ruud didn't do much today, apart from a great strike against the post.
Roma's play leading up to Mancini's goal was really nice.

I'm sure everyone has seen Sir Rednose's most recent moan about Gallas and Arsenal. He's so full of shit with his mind games. But it does show he thinks he needs all the help he can get to win the title this year.

Drenthe's been on a tear lately - he's looked very good on Real's last few games (even in the loss against Betis last weekend).

I thought they had the Real scapegoating machine out against him not long ago, and were ready to sell him after half a season.

Was it just me, or did Vieira look 10-15 pounds heavier against the Scousers? I do like Italian food, guess I can't blame him.

first thing I noticed about him when I saw him play earlier this season was his shape... he looks like Larry Holmes now... flabby and sick
