LOL, you're a little bitter, no? :)
I am not sure if you could call it bitter, but there is a certain bit of anger and sadness that we weren't playing in the final yesterday due to the fact that we would not have lost Eduardo to a stupid challenge.......but enjoy your win.....still haven't beat us in the league since when????????

lol @ Keane:

"It was my dream to win this cup" LOL

did he actually say that? in every interview i've seen - and article i've read - he says "i've dreamed of this moment", or some such. and while i'd agree that not too many folks dream of winning the league cup, it's fair to say that playing - and winning - at wembley qualifies as a dream for more than a few.

The actual quote:

You were right.no, no I was right...

I apologize for being slightly wrong... but here is the interview I was talking about from right after the match

Highly entertaining.

And quality refereeing.

I guess if you're going to get sent off you might as well tell him what you really think of him.

van Persie did that in the world cup in 06... not to a ref, but to the Portuguese keeper... funny stuff

he did not get sent off tho

Everton are back in 4th, 2-0 winners at City but somehow the ref managed to miss two stonewall handballs in the box by Richards and Onuoha, Richards also got penalised for a blatant handball on the edge but no yellow. Rob Styles is odd.

Professional performance by Everton, probably should have been more.

EDIT: Petrov just got sent off from violent conduct with the clock at 92.55 - what a penis. How pointless.

I'm sorry about Eduardo. I think B'ham's manager had his men go out there and try to intimidate the Arsenal players, which Mr. Taylor took far too literally. I do hope he's back this season, which is what was posted on Arsenal.com. It would be a miracle if he did.

When I first read that I didn't see the "l" in clock.

I was thinking about your predicament. Maybe the brits here can help?

Is Cleveland the Newcastle of the US or is Newcastle the Cleveland of the UK?

Well, considering that the UK already has a Cleveland, or, it used to at least. I guess Cleveland is the Newcastle of the US. We haven't won anything forever, are the butt of jokes from virtually every other city in the country, are predominantly working class, and we never get any respect. What do you think? Newcastle had the first light bulb, we had the first electric street light, etc. If you're really interested, I doubt it, but... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Cleveland%2C_Ohio

Not this season. This year. As in he'll be back before 2009.

If you're interested, Newcastle then (c. 1970) and now:

Town looks better today but the club is worse.

Cleveland does have a great nickname though.

"The Mistake on the Lake" is classic.

It makes me laugh everytime i hear it.

I don't think someone from Chicago should talk. What's that team you support called again?

Whatever it is, they've won something after Cleveland*.

* - Cubs are not a team, merely a laughingstock designed to sell beer and attract dumb singles.
