Ah, they showed the goal.

Great pass from Jensen to Klasnic, who outplayed the goalie
and scored.

1-0 win for Werder.

Boring match, good result.

Happy with the result and that we have yet to concede a goal. Bremen will be facing Rangers in the Round of 16. It will be a tough tie.

Thx, but Braga made the match today. If you use one of the chances
the match needs a different ending. What was missed was the final pass
by your side. Our team made it well in defense with letting the ball not go
to Linz (except his big chance some minutes before the end)
and so when your players were near our penalty area they tried to pass to him
and played a bad pass or gave our defense time to solve the situation.

I didn´t watch the complete 90 minutes, because i have a maximal traffic
at my internet connection, but from what i saw i am not happy
with Fritz, who looked a bit shaky on the right defense side,
with Almeida, who could have done much more from the balls he got
and especially with Özil and Borowski, both loosed too many balls
and this is very dangerous. Luckily Braga couldn´t use, but both must
improve at it. Ok, at Özil i except, that he is a new signing and needs
time to adapt (exspecially as a playmaker), but from a German NT player
like Borowski i am a bit dissapointed (not only today).
I thought his move to Bayern would give him new power,
but he keeps playing far beyond his potential.
With the performances of our other players i am happy.

Mentally my team has lost it completely it's been downhill since our win vs Red Star Belgrade. Lack of confidence or poise near the final 3rd of the field. Up until New Years I felt like Bremen would be difficult but we could put up a fight like we did against Tottenham last year. And no disrespect to Bremen but Hotspur outclassed us by a large margin yet we still converted the few chances we got and lost 3-2 twice. These games however were far from dominating performances we still lost to the better side but a big part of the loss was our own mentality and while I would hold Bremen higher then Tottenham these two losses were way worse to watch.

it's gotta be lost and even if it was loosed it would still be losed because it's always written with 1 "o". sorry

i think Borowski had a not-so-bad-game. I liked his many tackles.

Yes, i know, English grammar is sadly not one of my strengths,
especially after midnight. ;)
