Admit it Arsenal fans. With all our new players we'll finish ahead of you in the league. And in the FA Cup we're going to knock you out. Perfect revenge.

Easy there, chief...
While not having any money almost always means no success, having money rarely ever guarantees success. Especially when almost half of the first team squad is new and most have been there less than a month.

We may not win the league, but I have a feeling Arsenal are going to have a bad season and we will finish ahead of them.

But having more than the others and willing to splash it has proven to be the core of Real Madrids success.
No reason why it can't work for Ranieri as well.

Yea, it also worked for Fulham and Leeds too. :)
Seriously, I have no doubt Chelsea will a great side, but to assume that they're going to start winning everything right away is a bit silly. You have to give that many new players a chance to not only settle into a new club, but settle in with each other. You know what I'm talking about.

I'm not saying they're going to win the league, just finish ahead of Arsenal.

They wont finish ahead of Arsenal, but if they did and Arsenal finished 3rd that is only bad by Arsenal standards and Still BETTER than Chelsea has Finished in the last 5 years.Let me remind you about what just happened to Leeds. Spending money got them huge debt and a relegation battle.

I worked wonders for Leeds. It isn't easy to almost winning the ELP to barily staying up in just one season. Let's see your team try it. Hey, Chelski, need anymore players? Leeds will sell you any player they left for only $14.95! I'm depressed...

Hey now. I don't know about all this Chelsea beating Arsenal in the league thing. I have to disagree. Just because some billionaire bought Chelsea and signed half of the players in the world doesn't mean that they are destined for automatic success. I'll believe Chelsea finishes in front of Arsenal when I see it.

And go insane like the Barca directors do every year? (Quick, sell off the 6 players we bought last year to Portugal, and buy 6 new ones!) I don't think so. He doesn't seem like the type. Besides, he keeps insisting he's in it for the long haul. When he spends 300 mil, I think he means it.
