I know there are overseas French clubs who compete in the Coupe de France, but I was curious if there was a way for those teams to be promoted through the ranks and conceivably play in Ligue 1? Or are they completely separate, meaning that no matter how well you play in Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana or Reunion, you cannot get promoted to a league with mainland French teams?

The highest level possible for Guadeloupe, for example, is the Division d'Honneur (6th national division). They can't be promoted to a higher level but can play the Cup. The Guadeloupe League is affiliated to the CONCACAF.

I know the national teams of Guadeloupe, Martinique and French Guiana are members of CONCACAF (and Reunion is an associate member of CAF), but does that mean club teams from those three overseas departments are eligible for CONCACAF club championships if they are good enough?
Also, are there any clubs from either of those four places at the Division d'Honneur level? If not, what is the highest level that there is a team at? Where are the majority of these teams in terms of these charts, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_football_league_system?
Have any of these teams had any kind of serious cup runs? What round are they usually eliminated in? Do they have equal chance of hosting mainland teams in the Coupe de France as they do of playing away?
