Good news for the America-based Bayern fans. GolTV will show the match live on Thursday. The benefits of underachievement in the first leg.

Yea I was watching GolTv today and saw they had commercials for it... Pretty excited though I hope we play better than last time. I'll be happy if we don't go down a goal in the first twenty minutes also that is getting frustrating.

i really hope i will be free to watch it on thursday, since i would finally be able to watch a bayern uefa cup game here instead of just reading the commentary on this board :p

We shouldn't have to rely on him to win this match. If we can't beat Aberdeen without him, we don't deserve to go further in this competition.

Eissman, don't you have a meeting in Milwaukee that day? I have regretfully suffered a calendar misfunction and will be available on Thursday afternoon. And you may want to redo your DVR timer, GolTV has the game starting at 1:40 PM EST, so 1240 "our" time. Prosit!

I agree with FR's line-up except start Podolski over Klose. Of coarse, we all know Hitzfeld doesn't have any balls to make these types of decisions.

I wrote Klose and Schweinsteiger down because these guys can apparently do no wrong in Hitzfeld's eyes. Kroos on the other hand, MIGHT get a start since he hasn't been give a single minute the last 2 games.

I would love to come up, but somehow I don't think showing up to Parent Conferences later that night with a Bayern scarf and a Hefe-Weisse mustache would look "hot". LOL!! I would love to be there, so I will be there in spirit mate!
I have the game set to whenever GolTV has it set for... I likely couldn't remember as my DVR does that for me! :)

I would have benched Schweini many times before but not this game. Since he had a good game the last, it would kill his morale if you bench him the next. This could be chance to see if he can it up.

Agreed. Hitzfeld should bench miro and let him rest for a while or shake his head. Podolski is really on fire everytime he comes on the pitch. Its unbelieveable how his attitude has changed.

Its even more unbelievable that he hasn't been starting games. He really seems to have changed his attitude since coming under such scrutiny. He's not longer bitching about being benched. He gets 5-10 mintues a game and goes out there and gives it his all, thats the right attitude and I'm very happy with him because of that.

Yeah, I feel really bad for Poldi since he doesn't start any games, I'm sure Klinsmann will actually give him chances unlike Hitz... It has truly suprised me as well why he gets so little damn time. It's as if Hitzfeld doesn't play his starting 11, he thinks we will always lose..

I dont want anyone to understand me wrong. But thats what i sometimes hate about bayern. They buy almost all German talent and then bench them for foreign players. Why dont they just buy other players instead and let the german players play in other clubs. I know because it would keep making the others stronger but that destroys the players.

I don't think Hitzfield will do any rotation for this game, if no one is injured the only change we'll see from the team that started vs Hannover is the return of Demichelis:
Kahn - Sagnol, Lucio, Demichelis, Lahm - Altintop, Zé Zoberto, Van Bommel, Schweinsteiger - Klose, Toni
