It pisses me off how mario batoelli is underrated whenever it comes to best youngsters. If he was brazilian i bet many would say he is the next ronaldo. But since he ghanian-italian he is overlooked. Anyways its kind of sad that an 18 yr old is the best forward in milan (pato). Inter is slowly letting Batoelli up into the first team.

PS- by the time pato is 25 he is going to burnout (first team player for milan at 18 PATHETIC!!!!!:()

Sergio Ramos, Corluka, Garay and Gago aren't neither Under-21 already.

I thought U21s included 21 year olds.

Since it's U21, Messi HAS to be in it. I would also include Fabregas, Pato, Bojan and a few others (Dos Santos maybe).

It's only for players under the 21 years, 20 as maximum mate. Neither Gourcuff is available for this category.

I'd make:

GK Radek Petr (Czech Republic & Parma)
GK Joe Hart (England & Manchester City)
DF Serdar Tasci (Germany & Stuttgart)
DF Federico Fazio (Argentina & Sevilla)
DF Anthony Vanden Borre (Belgium & Genoa)
DF Micah Richards (England & Manchester City)
DF Antonio Barragán (Spain & Deportivo La Coruńa)
DF Mamadou Sakho (France & Paris Saint-Germain)
DF Gareth Bale (Wales & Tottenham Hotspur)
DF Royston Drenthe (Holland & Real Madrid)
MF Éver Banega (Argentina & Valencia)
MF Arturo Vidal (Chile & Bayer Leverkusen)
MF Cesc Fábregas (Spain & Arsenal)
MF John Obi Mikel (Nigeria & Chelsea)
MF Samir Nasri (France & Olympique Marseille)
MF Ánderson (Brazil & Manchester United)
MF Kérlon (Brazil & Cruzeiro)
MF Aaron Lennon (England & Tottenham Hotspur)
FW Lionel Messi (Argentina & Barcelona)
FW Sergio Agüero (Argentina & Atletico Madrid)
FW Karim Benzema (France & Olympique Lyon)
FW Alexandre Pato (Brazil & AC Milan)
FW Bojan Krkic (Spain & Barcelona)

---------------- Petr ------------------
----------- Fazio --- Tasci ------------
- Richards -------------------- Bale ---
--------------- Banega -----------------
--------- Mikel ----- Fábregas ---------
--- Messi ------------------- Agüero ---

That's what i'm talking about. I think that team could hold it's own against the older guys.

untwist your panties.

baotelli doesn't exist.

anyways, balotelli has barely made any appearances to be judged.

he's still under the radar.

if it's any consolation, i had heard about him last year in a conversation regarding young african-italians, like okaka.

and why is it bad to a first team player at 18 on the biggest clubs?

i must admit, altidore looks like he's going to be really good, everything eddie johnson was supposed to be and more.

MF Kérlon (Brazil & Cruzeiro)
Kerlon is absolutely overrated. TVs talked about him because he can walk with the ball on his head but this jugglery is absolutely useless in soccer at a high level. Kerlon is a very average striker, he scored only 3 goals since his debuts in the Cruzeiro A team; besides he's extremely fragile, often injured. He recently got a new bad injury and won't play the 6 next months.

I apologise about Ferdinand and Clichy. I didnt realise they were 22.

Zapater and Agbonlahor though are 21 and can play for the Under 21s.

In the under 21's, anyone born before a certain date can play. This is why Reo Coker and Bentley were playing for the Under 21s at the age of 22 because they were 21 when the competition started.

Regarding Gourcuff, he might not be doing the business at AC but if Arsene Wenger rates him thats good enough with me.

I'd like to throw Michael Bradley's name into this discussion. He's 20 year old and a key part of a very successfull midfield at Heerenveen. He's attracting interest from the bigger leagues and he's a real allround complete midfielder.

Toni Kroos (18) was awarded the Golden Ball for the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup, as the tournament's best player and also won the bronze shoe after scoring five goals.

Tune the radar cause he's coming. he is 17 and he would be already a starter in most of serie a teams. ;)

Neuer is 21, soon to be 22 ;)

and Tasci has been rubbish this season, I'd rather include Jerome Boateng or Arturo Vidal.

I don't know enough about international football to compile a list, though.

The most successful national under 21 side of the past two years is Holland yet the only Dutch youngster who gets a (one, to be exact) mention is Drenthe. Says it all really.
