We are looking for a couple of testers to compare our soccer board game, Soccer Tactics WORLD to the latest video games on the market. So if you own (or play) FIFA 08, etc., please send us an email. We will select two players, and send them (free) a STW game. Send us your name and what country/state/province you are from. All we are expecting is for you to describe the good and the bad of both 'systems', and tell us what you think. We might post your comments on our website, with your permission.

Comments and discussion about both could be on this thread too.

Hi! There are 11 pawns per team on a traditional full length pitch (field). There is dribbling, short and long passes. There is a lot of battling for the ball! The idea is to work your way down the field and get into the Penalty area, where you can shoot for a goal. You shoot by spinning the spinner. You can get a goooooooooaaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllll! or a corner kick, or a goal kick (or save). We also have included a 'shooting die' for those who do not like to use the spinner. There is a very nice gold trophy in the game.

You move your pawns (players) by rolling your die. The pawn, and then the ball move the amount of your die roll. After you make your move(s), the defensive team will then try to get to the square, where you are and battle you for the ball. Both teams are involved in the game. It has a nice flow to it. No boring down time.

There is all the special situations: free kick, goal kick, corner kick, and penalty kicks. There are yellow and red cards available during the battles. Yes - you can have a player (pawn) sent off. The pawns are numbered. Two yellows = red!

There is a cool timer in the game (no batteries required) so that you can play a full game or games of less time.

Please see our website for more info: www.soccertacticsWORLD.com (http://www.soccertacticsWORLD.com) The game is available in the USA, Canada, UK, Australia, South Africa, Italy, and soon in some other countries.

Besides being a good game for football fanatics, it is a good game for kids, and a nice couples game. It is a two player game (one vs. one).

Thanks for your interest. Any more questions let us know.
