At least Diego didnīt act like Rafinha and left through the backdoor.

Yes, FIFA is incompetent, but thatīs nothing new.

Some backgrounds:

The FIFA didnīt include the (men) olympic football tournament
into their match calender, because they donīt want to see
olympic soccer tournament become a concurrent for their World Cup.
A few weeks ago they made a statement, that clubs should
let their players go to Olympia if they are below 23 (because they
didnīt want bad publicity and a bad relation to the IOC).

But thing is, that the statement is juristically meaningless,
and thatīs why Werder, Schalke, Real Madrid (Robinho)
and others donīt want to let their players leave.

So FIFA didnīt solve the problem, but made it a problem
between the clubs and players.

Itīs right, that Werder and some others bring the case to the CAS.
FIFA must be punished for their incopentence.

About Diego:
I can understand his wish to go to Peking,
because itīs a unique chance for him.
But also has to keep in mind, that he is a employee.
I would make my boss laughing, if i would ask him
about leavig to Peking, because itīs the only time in my live

the big problem is FIFA... i think Diego would have stayed if Blatter kept his mouth closed and f*cked himself in the knee instead of making a big mess. Diego is a nice kid, not so much like Rafinha

According to Bild the insurrance problem with Diego is solved.
He gets insurranced during the Olympics.

Diego, have much fun and sucess at Olympia
and also good luck for the rest of the Brazilian team.

btw:
Thanks to DFB (German FA) for conncecting both sides.
