I do however see a lot of comments about bogus penalties and I find them to be hilarious. Your goalie jumps in front of a player and wraps his legs around him and that is not a Penalty? Linz "Admitted" he dove? Please your team won and you show that little class? How about commenting on the PK against Braga? Oh that was well deserved I assume?
Little class, cīmon, i just want to discuss the match
and i canīt stand it to see ref mistakes against my team
(and i have seen some in the past weeks).
I accept, that you have your point of view, i have mine.
Here it is.
At the first one there was no contact (Linz even said in ZDF,
that he dove as Fräulein stated before (thatīs unnormal/brave
for a prof footballer)), at the 2nd one the Braga player
was too stupid to go for the ball and felt over our keeper,
who tried to stand up. The penalty callīs a joke, in Italy
there can be discussed about such scenes, but not elsewhere.
About the foul against Diego we donīt need to discuss, clear penalty.
Btw. you said, that we have no class, because we want to discuss.
What about the Braga, that kicked Diego after the foul, thatīs no class.
The given penalty was hand ball. The Ball touched the hand of the Braga player
and the face of Mertesacker. Contact between hand and ball in penalty area,
unnormal hand movement (hand was in front of Mertesackers face), so deserved penalty.
btw:
The only classless comment was the one of a Spanish friend.
I told her, that we play Braga today and she started laughing,
because "braga" means underwear in Spanish.

Low should seriously consider making Wiese the number 1 goalie at Euro 2008
Cause he saved 3 pk's within 4 days? Well, that's really impressive ... but surely no criteria for getting a national team nomination.
Congrats on the 3:0 against Braga! The referee was blind  ... at least he did see the last-second handball in the box, though.

I could just as easily laugh at her for being Spanish period. That's classless ;)

@Penaltys:
First one was Fritz fault... yes, it was a dive, but Fritz left his foot in Linz way, it was already tough to see with multiple camera angles and slow motion that he didn't actually touch Linz, I'm pretty sure what the referee saw was a clear penalty, and he has to give it then.
Second one was another thing, Bragas player ran into Wiese, if anything I'd say Wiese was fouled. The ref probably thought that Wiese hold the other player, which was not the case... Only really bad referee decision in my opinion.
The foul on Diego was the clearest penalty in the match, but the referee was not in a good position to see it. A mistake, but things like this will always happen, and I'd rather have the referees not calling a penalty when in doubt.
The handball was a handball, not much to discuss about.
To sum it up: please give the referees some slack... It is inevitable that the referee makes errors, since he does not have multiple angles and slow motion, he can just decide on what he sees. Of course it sucks if a match is decided by a wrong decision, but in most cases I see I don't think you can blame the referees, they just decide on what they saw, and they can't see as much as the tv audience can.

Diving is classless.
German tv interviewed Linz and he admitted that he dove on the play. That's what happenend and that's what I wrote. I really don't think that's classless in any way. Still, it was hard to see for the referee because Firtz did stick his leg out (even though Linz admitted he didn't touch him) so I give him the benefit of the doubt.
The 2nd decison was much worse. They showed a lot of replays on German tv. Wiese clearly didn't "wrap his legs around him".
I feel strongly about dives and referees rewarding players for stuff like that because it destroys the game imo. It's the biggest problem for football imo. I've written the same in these forums about German players and German clubs.
The handball was clear as can be and Diego should have also gotten a penalty. I know it's not nice to lose 0:3 and your team can probably play much better but coming here like this shows lack of class imo and not what I wrote.
If you feel bad about that, so be it.
