Lyon are said to have bid 4 million for Elber, one source says he could be a lyon player by next week

I highly doubt elber will move to Lyon after all, for years since winning the Champions League he's been saying he wants to play in Spain.

Elber is gonna be an interesting story. Reading between the lines yesterday you could hear that Bayern wants to get the transfer sum and avoid the trouble of an unsatisfied Elber on the bench, and therefore they are pushing his move. Elber OTOH does not want to leave and stay with Bayern until next summer... this might end with a move and Bayern paying a nice sum to Elber for terminating the contract.

Unfortunately this is one of those times where financially, selling Elber makes sense, but sportingly it's totally disagreeable. :(
