Hey bigg, if you get knocked out of the Champions League will you be saying it's a good thing because it'll mean less fixtures too?

Marked.

And why is it that every Arsenal fan uses the same lame line after they get knocked out of a cup. After the Carling Cup all I heard was, "less fixtures, doesn't matter, etc." Now you're rolling out the same excuses. If you don't care about the cup then why even play in it? Or play a full side of youth/reserve players. The two teams fielded pretty much equal strength sides, about half regulars and half reserves. Ronaldo, and Tevez, arguably the two most dangerous United players this year, didn't even get anywhere near the pitch. You let DARREN FLETCHER score twice for Christ sake.

Take it like a man Skizz, you got handled and you know it. Don't try to use some cop out excuse about not caring about a competition because I can assure you that every player in an Arsenal shirt cared about that game yesterday and the embarrassment they incurred.
I never meant to say that we didn't give a shit that was just as a result of provocation :p. The point I wanted to make was that as soon as the first goal went in we looked beat. The body language of our players showed there was no fight and that was what I am most pissed off about. I personally value domestic glory over European glory and while the FA Cup is not the League or the CL, it's still a trophy and we haven't won a few of them in a while.

By the way, Fletcher only scored once, one was a Gallas own goal. Again...

Gallas needs to learn to move out the way!! :p

I think if any fan was given the choice between the FA cup and league they'd say they'd rather win the league. But the FA cup will always be important.

I just think more people expected a better battled between the 2 sides than occured. I for one certainly expected a close fought battle. Not a walk in the park!

I'm hoping for the Albion in the next round!

Well... I'm just hoping my boys get back into the top 4... since the leagues been out of the question since losing to Reading, and you all saw what happened w/ Barnsley:(
Just gotta take it one at a time but luckily Torres and Skrtel are back, cause Inter's not gonna be easy.

the next time someone uses this >>>> with reference to two players, without a validating argument, i am going to be violently sick over myself until i throw up blood and die.

>>> is not an argument.

Okay weekend

Took my official visit at uni and loved it

Training went 30 minutes late yesterday

I had yummy chopchop house dinner yesterday

Today is supposed to be a day off, but it is our makeup day for snow back in January... and I'm pissed.

ESPN now airs all Champions League games in the US. ESPN2 usually carries one game per day involving a British club and ESPN classic either has another game with a British club or one of the bigger Spanish or Italian teams. ESPN Deportes carries the rest. I have Dish Network and only pay an extra $15 a month for the package with ESPN Deportes, Fox Sports en Espanol and GolTV. Well worth it. Plus you get to listen to Mario Kempes instead of Tommy Smyth. Sadly the HD options aren't any better.

yeah i noticed last year that there were a few CL games on espn. I've got time warner, so no deportes, espanol or goltv. so it's either FSC or espn
but I'll take what i can get.

best thing is that time warner carries goltv in california (wonder why) and other select places but not in my area either.

edit: it looks like rafa is going to keep his job for the time.

2-0, especially with Pennant as the sub, giving two assists.
just what we needed:D

and now, only one goal in the San Siro will take us to the quarters

The sending off ruined the game for me.
