Not sure if this is the proper forum for this, but it's the closes I can think of.

Wandered into a Niketown inside the Forum Shops mall at Caesars Palace tonight, found their soccer section. Came across these uniforms:
* Manchester United
* Juventus
* Mexican National Team

No USMNT or USWNT to be found. Asked a nearby sales drone if they have any US uniforms. They responded they don't, and never have. So what the hell? Where *can* one buy US Soccer gear aside from ussoccer.com?

To be fair, some niketowns do carry u.s. jerseys, i.e. the chicago niketown does. But i would try looking in the phonebook for a soccer shop, independantly owned and give them a call. Your money is better off supporting one of these stores then nike.

You beat me to post this.... I was going to post the same thing. I was at both Niketown NYC and Boston last week. I was too offended when I saw MU, Barcelona and Juventus. They were here in the US so why not sell their shirts. But in NYC they had Mexico..... Mexico not the USMNT.

I walked into Puma in Newburry Street, Boston. They had Chicago Fire and Italy.

I used to work at Niketown boston actually, they did have a decent collection of Man U swag actually, and US jersies. Unfortunately, there were quite a few people working there who were into soccer and wanted to see more jersies but we could never get our buyers or Nike corporate to send it. I'm not really sure how well it sells, but it seems good that other Niketowns have a bigger selection of jersies. Since I couldn't really convince myself to buy a Man U jersey even at an employe discounted price, I once called every Niketown in America to see if I could score an Arsenal jersey, at that point I couldn't really find one. Apparently during the World Cup they also had a lot of Brazil stuff but it sold out really quickly, we always used to get a lot of Brazilians coming into the store who were really pissed off that we never had any.

Ironically at least in Boston they had a big picture of Landon Donavan in nike training gear surrounded by a bunch of Man U stuff, that always kinda pissed me off.

It was kinda fun working there, because there'd be a lot of European tourists who'd come in and they were always suprised how much I knew about the game. Especially when I'd meet people who were Reading supporters and I'd talk to them about Marcus Hahnemann. Every now and then too I'd give the German tourists crap about that handball on the line. However, most of the Portugiese tourist who came in didn't take so kindly to my ribbing.

I'll never go to Niketown again...
I went to the local Champs Sports in Sarasota, FL and almost had a heart attack; I was in a state of shock. At the front of the store they had 25+ soccer jerseys: Spain, Argentina, Manu, Arsenal, USA, home and away, etc. I had to restraint myself from buying 2 or 3 jerseys right there. I'll go back next time and get a Spain or new Real Madrid jersey.

Same thing happened to me when I was in NYC at the begining of the month. I bought Liverpool and AC Milan, and was very tempted to buy more. They were cheap, too. Only $120 for both of em'.

Instead of buying sh!t at chain stores who always shaft you. WHy not support the local soccer shop? These guys need you money more than NIKETOWN or CHAMPS Sports does and keep the culture going by providing us with stuff you can NEVER buy at the chain stores.

I understand if you like in a place where these local stores dont exist but if you are in a major Metro Hub(Thats usually where NikeTOwns are anyways) theres no reason why should be buying from these fookers to begin with. Instead of going down to these big places and getting pissed off and whinning about why they dont have stuff just head over to the soccer shops and you'll save yourself alot of time and aggrevation, not to mention you are putting the money in the right pockets(Nike will get theirs eventually).

I do support my local soccer shop..... I buy scarves, pennants, posters, boots, and socks from them.... however jerseys are another issue.... my local soccer store can not get jerseys that I want (EPL, MLS) because he said Eursport has blocked the manufacturers from selling certain items to smaller dealers..... I trust what my local soccer store guys sais.... Tutto Calcio on Union tpk in Queens

Last year during the first week of the World Cup I went to the Niketown here in Chicago. I was looking for a US jersey. The had a couple of Brazil and Dutch t-shirts and that was it. I asked if they were expecting any more jersey's and was told no and soccer wasn't very popular.

You're missing Nike's point. It doesn't want your lousy $ 70 bucks. Until there are 10,000 of you with $ 70, Nike doesn't care about you and the 900 other people who want to buy them. Pity, but that's life at Nike. Why waste the machine time on Metro jerseys when they can pump out Arsenal jerseys and sell them in London, Manu kits to sell the whole world over or, most importantly, crap Tiger Woods shirts to pawn on the suckers who will pay $90 for a polo shirt.
