I would replace Wisla with GKS Katowice. After CL Wisla will sell Uche and if they don't get a stronger defence they will fall. I hope I am wrong.

Do you guys actually think Legia has any chance at winning the league? I'm a Legia fan, but honestly think they have little chance. For one, there's no depth in the squad. They only have 3 strikers (if Svitlica doesn't go anywhere, but he's most likely on his way to the UAE). Jozwiak and Zielinski are great defenders, but they're both 36...can they handle a whole season? If they get injured, there's almost nobody to step in. On top of that, Legia is broke and can really only recruit players on free transfers. IMO, they'll do well to finish 3rd in the league.
As for Wisla, their defense is crap and will probably get them nowhere in Europe, but still better than most teams in the Ekstraklasa. And with Zurawski on form at the other end, I think they'll retain the title.
My picks:
1) Wisla Krakow
2) Groclin Grodzisk
3) Legia Warszawa
13) Gornik Polkowice
14) Swit Nowy Dwor

Groclin Grodzisk will be the best team on paper in the Polish league if they can gell. But i think Gornik Zabrze has a very good chance of winning the league. We have ton of good players upfront, our midfield is stronger then last season and we might even add a Tomasz Klos. Even if we don't add Klos, you gotta think we'd spend the money on something else.

Gornik Zabrze will be good. I hope Kozminski runs the club well. He's got a lot of good business contacts and should secure some good sponsorship. He's also secured some loan deals for some decent young Serie A talent. I don't know if that will all be good enough to win the league this year, but hopefully it'll build a decent team for the future.

I also think Groclin Grodzisk will be the surprise team of the season.

Gornik Leczna is good right now - we'll see whether they can keep up as the season progresses.
And Legia just won 4-1 against Wisla K. They are definately a contender for the league (along with Groclin, Amica, and Wisla K.)
