Revivo don't do ************ when he plays in the NT.
He don't get paid for that so he bearly ran when he played for the NT.
But still he is the best Israeli player today.

Agreed on both counts. Revivo has never had a club vs. country conflict because he never really valued playing for his country. But if we ever got to see the real Revivo in an Israel national team shirt, it would be a beautiful thing...

it doesn't matter that much if he'll return or not
israel has not got a chance to qualify to EURO 2004 in any case
a mentality problem

The mentality problems start with the fans who rule them out of contention before a ball is kicked.

the less the media deal with the NT-more likely the NT will get some good results
the problem is the media deal with the local soccer and especially with the NT more than anything else including basketball that is much more successful in israel

How is this a problem? The media in Brazil deal with the national team and local soccer more than anything else too. More importantly, the media in Turkey deal with the national team and local soccer more than anything, and Turkey is a country that was for a long time said to lack the proper mentality to succeed...
The main reason Israel fails to qualify for major tournaments is that the team is of a good standard but is not consistently one of the top 16 in Europe. A little bit of luck here or there and they could make it into a Euro finals or a World Cup finals. Fans and players alike should have a little more faith and enjoy the fresh start that is coming with the beginning of the Euro 2004 qualifiers.

Revivo can boost peoples and players liking for the NT. He is a good player, but he has his ups and downs. Unfortunetly he is has an ego, and not many do know about it. Overall he is a nice guy!

the reason the media deal with soccer more than anything else is not that the soccer is so good compare to the other sports but the fact that through it,the state of Israel would be recognized by it's soccer NT or with a clubs' success in the UEFA competitions and that's why the pumping begins with the clubs level as well
i believe that the media destroy the chance of being successful by pumping this baloon up too much
i think the best way for create a successful NT is the AMERICAN WAY that doesn't promote it's soccer NT as much as american football, baseball, basketball&hockey
i believe that israel should promote baseball and maybe american football to the people rather than whine on the continuious failures of the soccer NT(the last was a 1-7 defeat by germany)
those players definitly don't need(or deserve for that matter) that public exposure by the media
our basketball NT for example is much more successful but doesn't get much exposure comparing the the soccer
we,the israelies, should adopt the american sports in order to put the soccer into proportions
we are not turkey or brazil that soccer is the elite sport there

He's great on FIFA 2002 for the PC. He scored 23 goals in world cup qualifying but alas despite two wins over England I finished in 3rd place behind England and Ukraine.
