Y perparo esta nota: Los del Barce No lo quieren! PERO LO QUIEREN!???!!! Hablo de Juan Roman Riquleme, segun su club el Barcelona de Espana quieren que Riquelme juege en Europa, y no en Sur America. Al final lo quieren serca!!!! El plan B del Barca si las cosas no le van bien??? Puede ser eh.

Note to all you gringos out there: Don't be afraid to jump in the action, everyone in the SA forum speaks english(as far as I can tell).

This has been on my mind for a long time and I suppose now is the opportunity to get it off my chest since Argentina now has it's own space.
With all due respect, if (at least) 90% of the posts are written in Spanish, you ain't gonna get too many "gringos" bothering to check them out.
It's awfully difficult to get information about the Argentine League in English. If American fans come here thinking their information problem is solved and they'll be able to read about the teams and the league in their own language, they are going to be disappointed and turned off to find it isn't so. I don't think many will be back for second helpings.
I don't want anybody to be offended by what I've just said, but it happens to be a fact. I'm sure there are a lot of new fans of Futbol Argentino as a result of Fox Sports World/Espanol and great programs like Futbol de Primera. Unfortunately, I'm also sure there are many fans who watch those shows and wish they could understand what is being said, but are not bi-lingual. They may wander onto threads like this hoping for the knowledge they are seeking and find the same language impediment.
It's not for me to say how much English vis-a-vis Spanish should be on the boards, nor do I have a solution to the problem, but helping "gringos" fall in love with Argentine Soccer and contribute their thoughts is not going to be accomplished unless they can understand what is being written.
Sorry, but I just have to point this out.

Were threads merged? Cuz I see a lot of posts that would be more adequate in the Bolivia/Paraguay forum....

No offense at all, rp! actually the language difficult would be sorted out if we latinos werent THAT lazy! :p I post articles from different sources but some are sooo long that it would take forever to translate 'em, I promise I'll summarize 'em in english, deal?
