I love Argentine football, and watch it on FSW every week (except for the last two, of course :( ). In fact, I have been looking for a comprehensive website, in English, for information on the Argentine league. I have an internet radio show (www.soccerfanaticsradio.com) and would love to feature Argentine league news and results on the show, along with the European stuff that's all over the web. If this thread could turn into a source for that information, I'd be a regular contributor.

I don't have a favorite team, but I follow Independiente a bit closer than others, since my wife has been a fan since Mondragon was their keeper (I think she had a bit of a crush....).

I do not speak or read Spanish. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I'll keep my eyes open for a website in English. If you can't find info on what you are looking for here, don't hesitate to ask, even if it means starting a new thread. If you would like a translation on something specific, just ask. There are plenty of us here that would be happy to help you out.

For tables, goalscorers, relegation table, and schedule, check out www.ole.com.ar

This is a sports newspaper from Buenos Aires. It's in Spanish, and the stories require free registration, but the stats page doesn't require it.

Go to "Estadisticas" on the left to get the stats.

I'm totally obsessed with football. FSW carries the Futbol Argentino. Been thinking about watching...now going to get off my ass and follow. Probably will support Boca Juniors or River Plate...seeing as they are the biggest and most popular clubs that I will get a chance to see on TV.

Why should I pick one over the other?

of the fans. It is obvious that this is a great rival. Yes, I did watch the match.

Hoping to learn a lot here.

My advice: Don't "pick" a team. Learn the players and the clubs and you will naturally fall in love with one of them.

Hi. Of the little spanish I speak it's pretty bad. Ill just type in english.

I'm a River fan living in chicago. I came to like river at the tail end of last season. Right now, we seem to be doing well, impressive win today.

Also, over the summer I saw Boca Juniors play.
