Right now, I think Ronaldo, Ibrahimovic, Kaká and Messi are four of the Top 5, miss one, Robinho?, Mascherano?, Gerrard?, Casillas?, Torres?, Toni?, Ribéry?...

If you want to include someone who is not a attacking player than mascherano is your guy. In 5 years from now he will be the best DM in the world if he's not already.

Yes, since Corinthians, his regularity is impressive. He, Gianluigi Buffon, Michael Essien and Íker Casillas would be my first non-attacker options.
