Well Totti ain't really a classic striker as such, i'd take Eto'o and Totti of the and put in Henry and Toni maybe...

Well currently i thought ye'd might question Toni after his displays in the Euros, but Henry is an awesome player, i'd still rate him ahead of Eto'o and well Totti isn't a "striker". They were just two example though anyways.

But Toni has looked subpar for the last five or so games, Henry has looked bad for the past year and a half (and yes he has had a few decent performances here and there but his play has looked pretty pathetic with barca and last season with arsenal for the most part)

You do know he was suffering from a number of injuries in his last season with Arsenal and even at the start of the season with Barca he didn't look 100%
My point anyways at the start was in relation to Eto'o and Totti, i was only saying that in my opinion i would not involve them in the top 5 "strikers". Toni has been superb i know, i said that remember? I was just also saying that people are saying whatever about him since the Euro's, i still think he is top class though.
And if you are to look at alll the clubs in Europe and which strikers you worry about if you are going to play a team, Henry would be one you'd worry about. Wouldn't he?

Based on what he has shown at Barca and even the Euros then no. I watched almost every Barca game last season and he has looked pretty pathetic, missing opportunities even amateur strikers would put away from all the through-balls he was getting from Iniesta, Xavi, Messi. He has definitely lost form IMO and I would not even put him in the top 15 current best strikers.

European season is a few weeks away so I thought I would post this.
My Top 5s of the 2008-09 season predictions. No big surprises here.
Defenders: Vidic, Agger, Breno, Dani Alves, Sergio Ramos
Midfielders: Gerrard, Hleb, Banega, Iniesta, Camoranesi
Attackers: Messi, Ronaldinho, Torres, Keane, Villa
A little bit of a Spain/Barca/Liverpool bias there.

I think finally having a summer off will lead to a huge season by Carlos Tevez

I don't see him having back-to-back 40+ goal seasons. He set the bar too high last season.

Can anyone do a top 5 list for #10s or SS for the 07/08 season?
I tried, and I kept on struggling.
