The rest of the list is terrible as well.
Pato in the top 5? Sure he's a huge prospect and he had a good debut season in Serie A, but he's no where near the top 5 in the world.
Xavi is great as well, i guess the argument can be made, but i don't see him as being any better or worse than Iniesta. No Rio? No Kaka? Ballack? Pirlo? Klose?

No.
Rio has a case because he's one of, if not the best defender in the world. Kaka is probably top 5 as well. I wouldn't put Xavi or Iniesta in the top 5.

Iniesta has just as much an arguement as Kaka. Kaka did not perform well this year at all

I think all of those players should be included in a discussion of the very best players.

Ronaldinho is in a huge slump right now and just transfered to a new team. I wouldn't rate him at all until the new season starts and we see him actually play for Milan.
