Not going to knock your opinion but I personally wouldn't put 3 of those guys in the top 5 best players in the world. Gerrard is not a top 5 player in the world. RVN is a great goal scorer but he's not top 5 anymore. And Raul, although a Madrid legend is no longer top 5 in the world anymore.
I would add messi, Kaka and based on form alone this year I would say robinho is earning a place in the world as a top 5 player.
this guy doent know much about football Gerrard is one of the top 5 no doubt i hate C. Ronaldo with my heart because of what he done to england in the world cup
My Personal Top 5:
1:Torres
2: Gareth Barry (Scoring fantastically at the momment)
3: Aguero
4:Adebayor
5:Gerrard

Your top 5 favorite players?
Otherwise, Aguero isn't even close to second best in the world (same deal with Pato).

Bold #1
- You don't watch alot of EPL games? So, your opinion is flawed?
Bold #2
- Piss-Poor ball control? Apart from his speed, ball-control is his best weapon. Tricks = ball control!
Bold #3
- Messi and Kaka are quick players, but Cristiano can control the ball while carrying it at full speed. There's a difference.
- I agree, Kaka and Messi, are more creative as well as the more gifted playmakers, but Cristiano is the more superior technical player. He doesn't have a weakness - he's strong, uber-competitive, shoots with both feet, can head the ball, extremely fast, and is good from any set piece.
Bold # 4
- Bias isn't the word I'd use. To use your own words. Deceived? The only person you are deceiving is yourself. Cristiano is the best in the world this year.
Bond number 1: if you think tricks - ball control, then u r seriously decieved my friend....ronaldinho's skill exudes ball control. brazilian ronaldo and zidane's skill exudes ball control, but not CR's..he only uses it for the heck of it my friend.
Bold # 2...my god, i haven't seen anyone control the ball as good as messi does in full speed...i hope u don't think CR has better ball control than messi, do you?
Bond # 3...i disagree...technique means to know what to do at a certain situation and properly execute it...and sadly, its hard to be technical in epl...

To put Messi ahead of C.Ronaldo is dumb in my opinion. C.Ronaldo has done way more this past seasons than Messi. Note, that im not saying Messi is bad at all.
1.Kaka
2.C.Ronaldo
3.Messi
4.Torres
5.Gerrard
Ibra,Pirlo,Luca Toni closely follow.

What has Kaka done this season to be worthy of the #1 spot. AC Milan were knocked out in the Round of 16 and they might not even qualify for next season's Champions' League.

Well, he has scored 18 goals this season already, the same number of goals he scored last season. Dunno about the assists tho. He isn't playing as badly as people is making him out to be, but I agree he's not the #1 this season.
