Can't we all just get along? Let's stop the bitch-fest.
No problem.
-Stop calling people idiots
-Tell Dr. Know to not respond 'get a clue' and tell people to shut up when their views differ to his own.
It's that simple.

I will answer your points when you decide to answer the original question ....How many games has Riquelme played in against TOP TEAMS since copa america?
And if the discussion is focussing on Riquelme's form (and not whether he deserves inclusion in the top 5 players in the world which is what it should be), then i will address it quickly. Riquelme has slightly dropped form since his Villareal days when competing against top sides (and i dont mean top argentinian clubs), this in combination with playing in an inferior league is enough to keep him off the list. And if you want to know what other players i think should be on the list over him, then i'll either post it later or look in my post history in the top 20 players thread
That's a loaded question Phil. If I mention one South American club or Mexican club you'll immediately go to the xenophobic inferior league bullshit argument. I could name a handful of Argentine sides as well as sides from the Libertadores and Sudamericana and you'd still believe that a side from Belgium, Holland, Scotland, Portugal.....is vastly superior. Excluding the top teams of a select few leagues, you pretty much at best parody and sometimes just awful futbol.

I will post it, but i have a meeting tomorrow morning that i have to prepare for. And once again moishe, i never doubted riquelme's talent so I dont know why you keep bringing it up. Lastly, many european leagues are inferior to Argentina's but the spanish league is not one of those.
Clearly La Liga is not one of those inferior leagues, but the fact so many South Americans make easy adjustments should tell you something.

You're hopeless.
It has nothing to do with your views being different than mine and everything to do with the fact that it's painfully obvious that you're talking out of your ass.
Honestly I could care less if you think Riquelme is top 100 in the world. Just don't make asesine comments like "his form has dropped, he's not the player he was at Villarreal, ext..." because it just shows your ignorance.

I called you an idiot once.
An idiot is defined by dictionary.com as being "an utterly foolish or senseless person". That's the nice definition ;). I would take out the "utterly" and maybe even "senseless" in your case because I can tell that you are a generally intelligent and well-thought individual who has been momentarily led astray by temporary ignorance and blindness.
Was that nicer?

His form has slightly dropped since two years ago which isnt saying much since he was practically dominating every team single-handedly with Villareal.
Now, that in combination with playing in an inferior league is enough to keep him off the list.
Do you get it, or do i have to dumb it down even more?
p.s. the majority of your posts are filth, but i atleast have the maturity to not tell you to shut the hell up (which is what you should do)

One thing you are not understanding, hendrix, is i have no problems with you or anyone disagreeing with my views, but when you call people idiot and tell them to shut the hell up, then there will be a problem. And if you think someone has been 'lead astray by temporary ignorance' that's fine, but dont call it spouting garbage or refer to them as idiots unless you expect a bitch fest as you put it.

You sir, are right. I have come to realize (through my own hypocritical blindness) that you are not an idiot, but instead, a human being with every right to believe what you want to. I'm wrong once again (I can admit it). You have not been spouting garbage but have been expressing your opinion of which you are most certainly entitled to. I hope that this senseless argument will be put to rest swiftly.
P.S. At least you're not like Teso who thinks Zidane doesn't belong in the top 250 of all time (something like that)

riquelme is top five quality. Just because he didnt fitted in villareal but i think he can play in any system. He has one of the best delivery and he is a leader which most of the other players lack

Except it hasn't. I've already explained it 20 thousand times but you don't seem to get it through your head. HIS FROM HAS NOT DROPPED. OVER THE PAST YEAR OR SO HE'S PLAYED SOME OF THE BEST FOOTBALL OF HIS CAREER FOR BOTH CLUB AND COUNTRY. There, maybe now you can get it through your thick skull.
Do you get it, or do i have to dumb it down even more?
I'm not the one that needs to get anything. YOur the one that needs to get a clue before you make judgements on a player you clearly don't watch regularly.
p.s. the majority of your posts are filth

Stop acting like you know what you're talking about. Seriously it's getting annoying.

lmfao, zidane is like the france god. he means to france what maradona means to argentina, like hugo means to mexico( the player not the coach) and what pele means to brazil. Zidane helped france win the world cup and he made headlines when he was tranfered to real madrid. Zidane is top 20 all time.

Okay Phil let's see if we can get a straight answer out of you. In what manner has Riquelmes form dropped? Since you feel so strongly about it, you shouldn't have any issues with providing an in-depth insight. What matches have you watched that back up your contention?
Let's also keep in mind that you were the same guy that posted in Zidane/Riquelme thread that Villarreal were better without Riquelme and that the numbers spoke for themselves. How are they doing in all cup matches? Are they going to finish with a CL spot? They are not a better team without Riquelme which backs up mine and Dr. Knows contention that you are basing your views solely on an opinion of a player you don't watch.
Also enough with the inferior league bullshit, the top sides from Brazil and Argentina can go head to head with Europes best and be competitive at the very worst. When I look at sides like Wigan, Reading, Fulham, Levante, Murcia.....I don't see superiority, I see parody. Yes Europe is home to some of the worlds top teams but that alone doesn't make them a superior league. You're basing continental dominance on a few teams. It doesn't work that way and when those select few Europeans teams show that they can consistently dominate South American teams in head to head match ups you may have a point. As of now your coming across as claiming your opinions as facts. Get over it.

Didn't you know, they've got 3 legs in Europe!
Zidane is top 20 all time.
Maybe if you're 12 yo.

That's probably why Parreira whished before the WC he had got a player like him. Despite of Kaką.

I don't quite understand what you guys are arguing about... Zindane is easily top 20 all time, in my eyes top 5 of ALL TIME.
As for the people saying Riquelme is top 5...I'm biased cos in my eyes South American teams arn't as good as European teams but I understand Boca, River, Inter etc are very very good teams but I really don't believe that he's top 5, he was a few seasons ago, I remember being terrified when he was playing against us the the semi final of the champions league few years back but hes not as good anymore, his strength is a play maker but I dont think hes up with the big guns of Fabregas, Ronaldo, Messi, Kaka, (I would say Pirlo but he was bloody aweful tonight) etc hes way off the mark.

I don't really have a problem with much of your post but Zidane is a player I respect but he's not all-time top20 but he's probably not far away. I appreciate you stating your bias as most won't. The question I do have to ask is in regards to your stating that Riquelme is not as good anymore. Is this based on said bias or is their a part of his game that you can precisely say has suffered? As Dr. Know and any other real Bostero will tell you, the man has played his best ever over the last two years. I can't tell you when the last time I haven't seen Riquelme take the pitch, from live appearances to TV. From BOCA to Villarreal back to BOCA and even that awful stint at Barca. Please tell me how he all of a sudden is not as good?

To be rated as one of the best players you need to play against the best. The top ten teams in the epl, spanish, itallian, and german leagues are better than the top ten in Argentina. To be fair, i dont watch the bottom half teams in Argentina to rate how they compare to europe's bottom half, but i think it's safe to say that Fulham and Reading are better than most of them (but i cant say for sure). Riquelme has not played enough against top caliber teams this year. He has missed games for Argentina (contrary to what drknow foolishly claims) including against norway, switzerland, australia, etc. And he was nothing special against teams like san martin and gimnasia if i remember correctly. A few years ago he wouldve single-handedly picked these teams apart. So going back to my original question, how many games has he played against top competition recently? And is it enough for him to deserve inclusion as one of the top5-10 players currently?
As far as my list (not in any order):
Messi, Ibrahimovic, Ronaldinho, Iniesta, Robinho, kaka, C Ronaldo, Nesta, Pirlo, Robben, Lahm, Ribery, Gerrard, Buffon, Rooney, Klose, Totti, Joe Cole, Nistelrooy, Casillas, Toni, Mascherano, Hleb (on his good day).
-I would rate these players above Riquelme currently, and once again that is not based purely on talent. I'm pretty sure I am missing a few but as you can see that is around 23 players so Riquelme would be somewhere in the top 30, but top 10 as you mentioned is pushing it.

enough of a list for you, Moishe?
