Henchoz was seen storming off in his Barbie Pink Ferrari and is now looking for work!!
"It's not you Stephane" yelled Chloe "It's Jerzy, I just don't trust the Polish klutz for clean sheets"
"But Denis Irwin" cried Stephane "what are you thinking?"

I appreciate you doing this it makes things a lot easier to follow.
Of course we are making it harder by trading players already!! :)
What contest formats should we start with? One involving just the 10 of us first or should we challenge the "Chelski" boys right off.
Not sure how many they have in their league, assuming 10. I will have to check.
I was considering a Champs League format of 4 groups of 5 teams (if they have 10).
All play each other once (or twice, not sure yet) and top two in each group play 2-legged quarters.
The bottom 3 in each group would make 12 teams and they could vie for some sort of UEFA Cup style consolation prize with the 4 losing 1/4 finalists. 16 teams in a knockout tournament (1 leg?)
Then both comps could run and you'd have a Champs League winner and a Uefa Cup winner and keep everyone involved for a while.
Thoughts? Clarifications to my questions?

Sounds good the way you have it laid out there mark in the Champs league format.
Last season wit hjust the 6 teams it was kind of flat really, the BigSoccer league being more fun purely because it had more teams in it.
Jeezz, what a competition we can have with that league this season with 100 teans huh?
Anyways, the "chelski" drafted league is in the exact same set us as little rocks and has 10 active and regular posters, thus 10 active teams.
BTW, i am in both...actually i have three teams in this year in total.
Little Rocks....Romans Roubles
BigSoccer......Chelski
Chelski..........Thornhurst Blues

Well with Chloe asleep at the wheel I'll open this up to others. Feeling sorry for those unfortunate managers out there with weak front lines, Mr. Ingram (who seems to have buried Mr. Stoobeyboobey next to Hoffa and assumed managerial duties at LSG) has decided to offer up one of our offensive weapons if the right defender for the right price is offered in exchange. Any takers PM me within the next 30 minutes and I'll check in...

Great work, you are the man... the soon to be busy man, if i have my way there will be a blockbuster trade 3 teams 5 players... it will make sportscenter...
I'm just kidding.. however I am working on a conceivable 3 team proposal, and when im done with that i want to try and move 15 players and incorporate 6-7 teams.... mooohoohooohooohahahahahahahaha!!!!!

I've been unable to gain access to my team there! I fear that the powers that be might not have approved of that team's controversial manager, S.B. Dedley. Many say he stinks, others think he's full of hot air...

As reported at the league office over at premierleague, Ingram's first move as new manager of LSG has been to drop Hasselbaink to make room for the soon-to-be-announced Samuel Eto'o. Ingram thought the deal was dead after Eto'o had apparently signed with Valencia. But that deal fell through over personal terms and Eto'o is expected to ink a 5 year deal early next week.
I've done the same thing Mt. Kill did when he picked Cole by placing an already claimed player of the same value for ease of accounting. Don't worry, not trying to poach Bellamy! I'll change once he's in the system or pick a free agent to play before the first week's games.
I thought provisional selections ended with the draft? That new transfers into the league become elligible when fantasy.premierleague.com adds them to the data base?
So I don't understand the 'Eto thing, just like I haven't tried to make a trade for Vieri.

Hmm. I certainly didn't understand it that way, never remember us saying it was a race to sign once he's in the database. In fact I'm putting myself in a tremendously vulnerable position by making Hasselbaink available. To me this trade is no different from someone trading for the rights to Van Bommel, which is an even more speculative move. I'd feel pretty screwed to put this all on the board and publicize my secret scouting, only to have him poached. But if a majority of the nine other managers insist I'll play that way.
Difference between Eto'o and Viera is that the Eto'o deal is all but done while Vieri is still a very speculative rumor. I've even emailed the premierleague administrators, gotten confirmation that he's likely to sign, and gotten his likely value. That's a hell of a lot of legwork to sit back and let someone else pull a Man U on me...

Well, we did not discuss what is going on... I see Ingromius' point but i believe it should be a free for all, and dont you worry i saw the Eto'oo story last night and considered a move for him, but because i figured there would be a mad rush for him and the fact that making cap room would be hell to pay i decided against it...
All that said i think this is reasonable... Anyone picking up a player who has just been trasfered must wait until he shows up in the database... simply because many media resources are not reliable and we will have someone saying that Ronnaldo has signed for ManU because of something read on planetfootball...
Also you cannot claim any player in BigSoccer until he has made cap room for him that makes it interesting, it will truly be a race, you have to see the player entered, then make your transfers to get cap room and then pick him then notify the league... is this a good idea do you guys think???
Also i was away when i started this so i realize there may be some responses saying similar stuff and what not before this is actually posted..

I was uncomfortable about provisional picks during the draft and I am uncomfortable about provisional picks now.
I think they need to be in the system with a value attached before transfers can be made.
However, as you have made your intentions known, unless others object, I would not stand in the way of this particular trade. If other players were going after him then they need to speak up now.
In future trades however, I think we need to have the player in the system before anyone trades for him.
