It will be interesting to see how Mendieta turns out. Sounds like he's been in very poor form lately. Does he turn it around, or does he pull a Hakan Sukur? Same question goes for Jardel, though I'm more optimistic about his chances.

True, if plays like he did with Valencia he'll be a prime pickup... But the way he played for Lazio and Barca left alot to be said...
Jardel is class scorer, his only problem from what I've seen is he can't create his own goal... Will he get the service he needs at Bolton? I don't know about that, if he played at Man U, Newcastle, or Arsenal I'd bet he scored more then 20...

I actually like Bolton's prospects this year. I watched the Man Utd match, and the 4-0 scoreline wasn't very just. Okocha and Djorkaeff are both world class, and Campo is a nice steadying influence. Nolan is also one year older, and now Jardel could be the big scorer they needed.
