This is absolutely must win for us, we really need it going into these tougher matches in the end of the month. I haven't seen the Sheffield match yet, the only reason I am going to watch it is to see Sturridge's first senior goal. Hopefully we can see more of him in coming matches. Johnson and Bojinov in training is an exciting prospect as well. We really need to step it up here and get 3 points, anything less will be a failure.

Just as the Sheff Utd game was! Im not gonna say we're going to win but if we fail to win it would be embarrassing. Even a draw would be a very very bad result. All due respect to Derby but if we really are being serious about a top 6 finish then the players have to prove it by winning tonight - nothing less.

I'm right with you Alan. My concern has been a lack luster performance for quite a number of matches now. This doesn't show the desire and passion needed to be a top six team, and being brutally honest, our current league position paints us in a flattering light (it's really a reflection of how well we played right at the beginning of the season and not our current form). We've been somewhat lucky in the fact that the teams around us have struggled, but some of them are now achieving better results. We need to get back to our previous winning ways.

We desperately need this away win, as we have three tough matches coming up. So out of our four games, I can only see points coming from tonight's match and against Everton at COM.

Come on City

Cmon We Need To Get At Least One Of Our Chances Past Them. How Vassell Can Be Counted As A Striker Is Unbelieveable, Three Chances That Even An Old Granny Would Score From. One-on-ones With The Keeper Missed, Open Goals Missed, Its Getting Beyond A Joke. Why Sven Keeps Picking Him Is Something Im Not Sure Anybody Will Know!!! Derby Hit The Post twice. I Know Sven Said That He Would Only Buy To Improve Quality, But Championship Players Would Be Worth Playing Instead Of Vassell If He Keeps Playing This Badly. This Has Got 1-0 Derby All Over It.

Vassel couldn't hit the barn from 5 yards.

Why the HELL he did not pass to Sturridge who had an easy tap-in oppurtunity is beyond me. If we convert at least one of our chances .. this derby defence will fall apart, but at the moment it's still a contest which is disapointing from our context.

Early in the year I wondered how I would handle it if we stayed near the top of the table. Good thing I do not have to worry about that. Could someone please describe the own goal for me?

Since we are failing to land any new strikers, young Mr. Sturridge certainly is popping up at the right time.

It is inexcusable to draw with Derby, what the hell. I am not one to get down, but I am not feeling so good about the rest of this month at the moment.

Bloody hell.

Arsenal and United will destroy us if we play like we are...

On the other hand, we have secured Caceida (Striker) If he possess es the talent to actually shoot the ball with any authority, he should gather a place over Vassell.

How he missed that first half chance i will never know.

(And for those wondering about the own goal, About 5 yards out of the box, Savage had a shot that would of more likely hit the corner flag than the goals .. Sun Jihai instinctively flicked his foot out and it just ran across goal and beat Joe Hart_)
