does the lace cover on the new vapors really cover the laces? or does it only go half way and only for stirking purposess?

Well I'm ready to return my Vapor IIIs tomorrow, but I have the doubt that Nike will replace my boots due to these issues. Heavy scuffing and 5 months of wear. Even then, a 5 month period of light Soccer doesn't justify the $200 price point. Here is a video of the the back stud plates.

Here is the video:

For those based in the States, Eastbay has the Black/Charcoal SG Lasers for $100

Didn't really see this colorway alot, but I've always liked it. I'm in the market for some boots, and I've never really purchased a premium/top of the line boot, but I will seriously consider picking these up.

Edit: I realized Eastbay ships overseas but the rates are ridiculous($57 to be exact!)

Alex. . . you should have no problem with nike as long as you follow the return process with getting the return id number/case number from them before you send the boots back. . . i had a pair of track spikes that i sent back when my zipper broke on them and some other parts started to come apart. . . . nike has a two year guarantee on all footwear they will see what is wrong and send you a gift card for for the amount of the cleats for their online store. . . . . and while i am on the topic of guarantees puma has a one year and adidas has a one year nike is the only two year guarantee on footwear

is that guarantee only if u buy it off them or from a store.

You posted them in the other thread, no need to put them in every thread man. Plus your links don't work.

Sports soccer had the SL vapors in today £189! what happened to getting things for a better price in there these days. All the new boots seemed to be the same price as everywhere else.

That damage on the back happened to mine as well, nike told me that about every 1/3000 pairs have a fault where the carbon bit meets the back studs but it only happens on firm ground apparently?!? don't know why that is....

Have yours been giving you bad blisters too?
What i did was just get some of the Doctor Scholes blister pads and put them on the heel part of my vapors and it works perfectly. No more blisters. :o

After the boots get to them they try turn them over in about 3 weeks, then depending on the course of action sending you replacements may take longer than sending vouchers. So in all i'd say around a month including delivery time there and back.
