Bayern social club. Keep it clean and respectful.
No locker room banter will be tolerated.

Cool. Now the other threads can stay on topic and not wander into the unknown. I apologize for sometimes going into the unknown in my discussion.
So, this is the men's locker room, right? ;)

Yeah, time for dirty talking
I prefer the men's locker room. I don't deal with boys.
If you don't deal with boys so why do want a boy's locker room at all? :p
Duncan...there is a difference between you and me. You're a man while I am a woman surrounded by a bunch of men and little boys.
That's unfair

I don't want a boy's locker room at all. All the boys on the board can hang out there. I would rather sit with the men from the board in the men's locker room and check it out all. Would I be impress? Probably not. :D
No, Duncan, it's not unfair. You post your pic and see how many comments you get.

Let's talk music....
Picked up the new Radiohead "In Rainbows" over Xmas... cannot get it out of my car disc player!!! Absolute brilliance! YouTube has a great video of the "Wierd Fishes" track... they are all just jamming in a studio, but I think of it everytime I heard the song. I find myself singing songs of this disc in my head all the time... even waking up in the morning with one on the brain. It is a superbly crafted endeavor from the masters of innovative alt-rock.
Another disc I highly recommend if anyone had the fortunate opportunity to see this amazing live show is Daft Punk's "Alive". It is virtually all the songs of their three 30 minutes sets they played... somewhat edited down to fit on CD. The Special Edition CD comes in a booklet format that shows some great variety of pictures to accurately portray the live show. I am telling you, this show instantly leap-frogged a half dozen favorite live shows of mine to enter my top 3, and seriously is contesting to be the best show I have ever seen live. I saw them in Grant Park, Chicago for Lolapolooza this past summer, and it was just truly amazing - the atmosphere, the skyline, the weather, the crowd, and the Daft crew tearing a hole into the heavens that night. If you have the pleasure of seeing the booklet, please look long and hard at the featured photo in the center of the entire booklet.... it is a picture of the two lads behind their spaceship/decks overlooking the skyline of the Windy City. I wish I had a poster of that!!! (er... but I am sure my wife is glad I do not!).
Last recent pick up is a CD of the brilliant modern-musical called "Once" soudntrack. It is infectious music in the film and apart from it. I actually loved the main track so much once I saw the trailer, that I bought the CD ahead of watching the film. In the film, the music does some of the 'talking' for the characters, so this was somewhat similar to reading a book before seeing a film remake of that same book.... I was not sure if I was going to be disappointed after 'painting my own picture' of the songs or not. To my wonderment, it was brilliantly done and only added to the cleverness of the movie and brilliance of the soundtrack.
That's it from DJ Eissman for now, but chime in at will.... I am always up for good suggestions in new music. And thanks to DF for opening this thread....

Puh, not the music I listen to, though Radiohead should be something I could like according to last.fm. But nevertheless I also can recommend something Stars - In Your Bedroom After The War which is in my humble opionion one of the best indie albums I could get my hands on in the last year

In Rainbows and the Once Soundtrack are very good albums which I've been enjoying a lot as of late. Awesome to see Radiohead still going strong. And Once is one the most genuine films and music I have heard in a while.
However, you guys need to get into some heavier stuff! I haven't been a big fan of newer metal but last year was a great year for the genre. Check the following out if you desire some intellectuall, progressive and heavy musik. :D
Dark Tranquillity - Fiction
Symphony X - Paradise Lost
Arch Enemy - Rise of the Tyrant
Machine Head- The Blackening
Porcupine Tree - Fear of a Blank Planet
Between the Buried and Me - Colours

Didn't Radiohead announce that the CD In Rainbows was the one where fans could name their price or something like that? I'm only familiar with the group via their vocal talent on a South Park episode and through the song Creep, which was a pretty good song.

Why is this not on the tracklisting on the CD? Am I missing something?? Come to think of it, if it is a "hidden" or unlisted track, I haven't even noticed if my CD deck says 10 tracks or more (10 tracks listed on CD jacket).

Radiohead - Scotch Mist (http://youtube.com/watch?v=ukythkK4EPQ)
This is the YouTube link I was referring to with Radiohead's "Wierd Fishes" in it. I like it.
"A film with Radiohead in it made for New Year's Eve, 2007. Features every song on their new album IN RAINBOWS, the "physical manifestation" out now in stores."
