Clarence Seedorf.

Doesn't get a lot of hype but has been succussful everywhere he's been

Why should the 'glue' get more praise than he merits? He's a good player who has been successful but he would not make the top 10 of any list and rightly so.

Arteta, Nasri, Silva, Y. Toure

but surely nasri and silva are very young, and in some years they are going to have the respect that that deserved.

How is Frank Lampard better and more important than Paul Scholes?

You are fan of united:rolleyes:

You can't provide any reasoning to back up your opinions http://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

Paul Scholes is so good that he thinks he can slap the ball into the back of the net and get away with it. :p

I defy any player to come up with a stunning finish like that.

You serious?

No but he is drunk.

I wonder if he was actually audacious enough to think the ref wouldn't notice. :D

Messi did it better

Actually I am. Considering the slack he gets and what he does for his club he is underrated.

I disagree. The vast majority of handball goals, including the one Messi scored, are easy and require little skill.

Kuyt is rated about right. He's all heart.

kuyt and scholes deserve the rated that they have, i believe that if you think that kuyt dont deserve a better rated you cant ask it for your idol scholes :p

I disagree. Messi's handball goal was more brilliant because it was clever and deceptive (it looked like he headed it in) unlike Scholes' which was just stupid.

...closer to unknown than underrated, but still, Checho Batista in the 80's as DM/CM..he was smart as they come...his druggy version of WC90, doesn't take this away for him...

Anyone should be expected to score the handball goal that Messi did. The officials' ineptitude in allowing it is irrelevant to that. The same cannot be said about the handball goal that Scholes scored.
