Isn't that exactly what the EPL has been doing to make their league look better...?

Not really. The EPL can be credited for players like Ronaldo, Fabregas, and Mascherano.

More like Portugal, Spain, and Argentina

Ronaldo a Sporting product
Fabregas a Barca product
Mascherano a River product

They came from that country but the were made in the EPL. You would not say that Messi was made in Argentina right?

I'll give you Fabregas. And that's it from that trio.

I see you have conveniently dropped Drogba from your list now...

Everyone knows that Ronaldo is a result of mostly the genius SAF. Yeah, he was a good player when he arrived to Man Utd but the team made him and he would not be the same if he wouldn't had played in Man Utd.

How old was Masch when he made the jump?

But Ronaldo was always going to be a top player regardless of whether he went to Man Utd or some other top tier team. Therefore he wasn't made in the EPL.

But he became the best player in his position in the EPL.

So SAF and Man Utd had no influence on Ronaldo?

Did I say that...?

Yes, old whisky breath had a very good influence on Ronaldo, but what I'm trying to point out is that there is every chance that had he gone to another club, in another country, when he left Sporting that he would have turned out equally as good.

So by your logic

La Liga can claim to have produced

Maradona,Ronaldo,Romario,Hugo Sanchez,Di Stefano...

No but I was just asking you.

I don't doubt that he would be a great player but not the most expensive player in the world but we cannot really argue about something that didn't happen.

Guess what

Mascherano was already a class player at River and Corinthians

Here is something the epl can lay claim to producing

Titus Bramble!

A class player but not world class and west ham/liverpool gave him the chance to prove himself. ;)

Really? In what capacity has his game improved since joining Liverpool or more specifically the EPL? I'll save you the trouble of having to make something up. He plays exactly in the same manner he did while at River and Corinthians....purely defensive minded midfield destroyer. Let me ask you this Erick but by virtue of only playing five matches for WestHam most of which were as a sub, what did he learn from that experience? Here is some food for thought Erick. Mascherano has been in an awful spell for Argentina for a while now so would you attribute that to the English playing experience as well?
