Yes, those of us who followed him in in Scotland would be aware of his of his greatness, however the spell he had with Liverpool was truely inspirational. Almost akin to Gandhi.

Dont forget his time at Leeds Utd either. Macca, Batty, Speed and a fiery little red headed scot formed the best midfield partnership back in '92 to win the league.
I would put Fernando Hierro in the underated domain as well.

Crouch, Arteta and Ferdinand I can see. Diarra for me is a stretch. I don't take any real issue with any names though as you've got a right to personal prefference but I really don't get Ronaldo. He's not underrated generally. Some may not give him enough credit, but many give him too much.

So a few posters and a few articles criticize him and all of a sudden he is underrated? The VAST majority of people think he is hands down the most talented player in the world and many are starting to say that he is the best portuguese player ever and he was going to dominate euro the same way maradona dominated the world cup. if anything ronaldo is overrated by MOST people.

Being both Anti-Man U and Anti-Argentina, I hate to say it but its gotta' be Tevez. The poor guy is stuck in the limelight of Messi and Ronaldo but wins wherever he goes.
