There is a reason why Arteta no matter how good he plays cannot get a call up. I think it might be because he plays in England or David Moyes(Everton Manger) is very tight on letting players play for there country and wont let him play.
There's that and then there's the fact that Spain has probably the best depth of any country in CM's.

That's your opinion and that's fine but the fact is Iniesta has been extremely consistent for Spain and Arteta isn't needed. In a lot of other NT's Arteta would have a shot but not for Spain. It says a lot about your depth when Fabregas can sit on the bench.

But did Marcos Senna deserve to be in the team over Arteta who is one of the best midfielders in the worlds biggest league?
The fact Arteta hasn't been capped is just embarrassing. He's one of the best players to not ever be capped.

Totally different players. Senna is more of a DM, one of the best in the world at his position, and an undisputed starter for Spain because of what he provides. Spain currently has few other players that can provide that. There's a reason why he started every single game for Spain except the insignificant one against Greece.

Senna anchored Spain in Euro. Extremely important player in their system.

I'm seriously wondering whether or not you watched Spain play throughout the Euro's...

Senna and Spain very similar to Gattuso and Italy.
I just think it's terrible that Arteta hasn't been capped, thats all.

I only watched Spain v Italy and the Final.
Senna wasn't great in the game v Italy and can't remember the final.

Senna plays an important role in the team, even if arteta gets a call-up he wouldnt replace senna. IMo arteta is just as talented as cesc and he definitely deserves a chance.

I think the fact Arteta plays in England for a top half team isn't good enough in the managers eyes to earn him a cap.

Senna > Gattuso, any day of the week.
Senna is far more technical, has a better shot (a MUCH better shot), is a better and far more intelligent defender, and doesn't get absolutely stupid yellow cards.

Where did I mention a red card?
He may be extremely brave and courageous, but he's not half of what Senna is for his club.

he is not in his club like senna, because it exists a huge difference between villareal and AC Milan
