Yes but this is Vancouver we are talking about. The A-League team averaged 5600 last season, the weather was perfect for the Whitecaps game.
Anyway like I was trying to say the two audiences are different. Those going to the U-19 match were going for the international event. Then there are those fans that only attend womens soccer. The last couple of years when the Breakers (womens team) and the Whitecaps had double headers for the price of one ticket, 2500 people would show up for the womens match, but it was not suprising to see 1000 fans leave right after the Breakers game because they didn't want to watch the men play. Luckily for the Whitecaps they were replaced with 3500 people who showed up after the Breakers game because they only wanted to watch the Whitecaps.
