Sudakas in the Cauldron

I wanted to let everyone in the Cauldron know about Sudakas.

Sudakas, which stands for sudamericans in Kansas, is the official name of the group we have been referring to as “The Argies” or La Porra. I have been contacted by their leadership, expressing interest in working with us to create the best supporter section in MLS.

Here is what I know thus far:

They will be standing in The Cauldron with us.
They commented on how much they enjoyed last season and are looking to make it bigger and better this year.
They are looking forward to being closer and louder this season.
They are very enthusiastic about being Wizards supporters.
They have made new flags for 2008, and have purchased a large quantity of blue and white fabric for making additional big flags.
They are looking to get more organized and want to work with us to coordinate our efforts.


I think this is an excellent step in moving the Cauldron in the correct direction. The leaders of the two groups will be meeting sometime in the next week or so to discuss how to best move forward.

SWEET! I have a huge archive of La Porra pics if you could pass the info onto them. Ive got several hundred Cauldron/LaPorra shots. CANT WAIT!

This is excellent news. We need to have that meeting, and we need to have some serious discussions with these guys.

They will need to understand the history and everything that comes with being in our section. It was quite clear last year that our visions don't match 100%, which is fine, but we must be on the same page.

Wow that is big. Alot of wasted space imo and the blue lettering at the bottom is to small to make out. Oh well the more banners, flags, color the better. Good job amigos.
