I know this is going to be completely culturely insensitive, so let me preface it by saying that, since I live in the US, I don't think that this country is the root of all evil.....
So, reading the hyperventilating on Redissue and Redcafe looks really silly to me. The cheering for the vandals who spray-painted the front of David Gill's house for the latest example.
So....looking at this rather lovely picture and parsing the words and the logo at the bottom seems really petty to me.

that's really unfortunate. hopefully they will change it though i'm sure if it was done with them knowing it was done for a reason. and i'm don't think that reason was the Glazers just f*cking around with the fans.

they are probably being inundated with emails and calls saying it is wrong so it really wouldn't surprise me if they change the font size and add the word.

i also didn't realize how big that banner was until i noticed the little man in the crane.

I am as anti-Glazer as you and I was really depressed that May day when the 'hills have eyes' brothers took over BUT I dislike the constant slagging off the club. Not as many people know all the lyrics to United songs as you do NM and I am more bothered by the pictures of the players as they say a 'picture paints a thousand words'.

Lets just email the club and tell them it is wrong but I think the club is having a proper and fitting tribute (I wish the FA were too but that is a different matter:().

Ok ....I think people are taking this the wrong way. let me 1st off saying that the idea of the tribute is just perfect like you said the picture paints a thousands words, and that i was quite moved when 1st saw it. I know they didn't intend to get the words wrong and just something I saw and others have saw. :o
