Congrats on the win and good luck for the rest of the season! I think you should get the promotion with this team.
Well, somehow I'm relieved to see us finally lose again. ;) Better now than against Lautern. :-)

Fortuna Düsseldorf - Wuppertal 2:0
Now we´re in 2nd place which means, we would be promoted to 2nd Bundesliga, if there weren´t a whole bunch of games left to play...:mad:;)

No, he didn't. He "played" in Braunschweig last season (I put played in quotation marks because by played I actually mean being injured the entire season...)

But i fear they won't hold it for too long.
The goal remains the qualification for the 3rd Bundesliga.
Best luck for the Fortuna btw. You must qualify at least
for 3. Bundesliga, if not getting promoted to 2. Bundesliga.

It´s someone who, at least won´t get promoted to the 2. Bundesliga! :D
We´ll see, there are some gamedays left, so Fortuna has some time left to go up (or down) the ladder!

How long have you been crawling in the gutter now? A decade?
For an outsider it´s almost unbelievable that a city the size of Düsseldorf fail to support its major footy club enough financially to earn a promotion, year after year...

Perhaps there is a little more going on in Düsseldorf than in other towns in the area ;)

I ask myself as well what went wrong within the club during the last decade.
So do we all I think..I would buy a book about it, I bet there is a lot of fascinating stuff to be told.
Just the TOTENHOSEN sponsorship was hilarious..:D

Look Gaboo...
You got a traditional club with a disenchanted but rather big fanbase, you got a nice modern 50.000 capacity stadium available (even if the food and drink is terrible..)
You are situated in smack in the middle of NRW which is the number one spot in Germany if we talk support for rather mediocre teams.
Düsseldorf is a rather big city and got twice the population of say Gelsenkirchen or Mönchengladbach.
Düsseldorf is THE CAPITAL of the most populated and industrialized area in Germany and there are huge companies based there...Eon, Thyssenkrupp etc.
But living in Sauerland you know this already.
It´s unbelievable that a F95 fan fear for the future of his club..there is just so much damage that can be done by mismanagement!
