After TWO yeah TWO back to back clean sheets we are looking better for this matchup AND nothing gets us going than ARSE who have "owned" us many times but this time I feel we will take care of business. Will Wenger go young on us again we'll see because Van Persie is out for a while and most likey they will go young on us but whatever... Post your possible lineups and predictions. Does help we got 1 away goal in our pocket. I think we will move on and win 2-1 at home. COYS!

i will be supremely pissed if we don't win this tie. dare i hope for a two-goal (or more) difference? with minimal nervousness over the last half-hour?

i shall. 3-0 spurs on a glorious cup-night.

what's the (US) TV situation for this one?

I don't expect anything other than a full-strength side for us, especially after seeing the experimental side that played Sunderland. Midfield 4 is the only question - Boateng has been getting a lot of playing time but hasn't impressed me. I'd do Lennon - Jenas - Hudd - Steed. Or possibly O'Hara instead of Hudd. Interesting to see who Wenger will play, if he sticks with the side we played 2 weeks ago I am quietly confident.

I predict we boss the game entirely the first half but only have a 1-0 lead to show for it. Then in the second half we inexplicably lose all shape and attacking edge yet hold onto that lead until about the 60th minute mark, then they tie it up, then we go ahead, eventually we lose 3-2. I so sincerely hope I'm wrong, but that's my guess. :(

I'm quite worried for this one. Since someone got a clue and dropped Fat Robbo the clean sheets don't lie. The roles seem to have reversed, as it's at the back where we have our problems, we have one fit centre back (Gallas) as two are at the ACN and two are injured. I am quite worried for this game (not as much as the match at Emirates mind) but I think we will end up playing a few first teamers by default due to injuries, which should shore up the leaks in the team in the first leg.

It will be a good game though, I can't see it being tentative. I will be there for this one so as I always do I will say good luck, blah blah blah, see you on the other side when one of us (hopefully us ;)) can smash Chelski in the final.

It's really all about the confidence of the players. While I will say (and it hurts to say it even though its true) you are a better club, realistically you are not so much better that we shouldn't have beaten you since 1999. I've seen you make us look like Dag and Red (last year at the Emirates) and I've seen us wipe the floor with you (especially last go round), but in the long run we can't win. It's a mental thing. And hopefully, for us, Ramos is the guy to make them believe, but until it happens, I just won't think it possible.

But I am still capable of complete stupidity when I say 2-1 to Spurs.

Berbs is up for the match. Quoted as saying something like "It is the biggest match of the year for Spurs." Cerny is doing well, as is the back line (mostly). King should be back for domination. I'm gonna second cdm and say 2-1 Spurs. Goals to Lennon and Berbs.

The difference between Spurs at WHL earlier in the season, and Spurs @ Emirates in the League and 1st leg is immeasurable. The team visibly imploded at WHL. Ramos has bought them some confidence-ade or something.

I don't have Ramos firing me up, so I need some of that stuff. :o

No question we can do it, but it's been so long, I'll believe it when I see it. We desperately need the strikers to take their chances: I'd like to see Keane get one and put that penalty miss behind him.

I think Ramos fires me up. And I have no doubt that we will break this pathetic record against the big three and liverpool (I will no longer refer to a team that has spent as much time out of the top 4 as in it this decade and hasn't won a title since Communism mattered as big) .

Will it be tomorrow. Not confident on that one, because the components are still the same guys that don't think they can win. But as a new team is crafted, it will come. And eventually we will beat United at home, Chelsea away and Arsenal anywhere (that anywhere may just be my CM2008) But that fricking counts!

Yeah I had heard that Wenger was going to use more of the starting 11. Or at least that's the rumor. We'll see in a few hours.
