Frustration, thats a good word. We dominated the match, we scored. They had a player sent off, they scored. We then played like 11 individuals and lost all cohesion and shape, but still should have won the game.

Good points -

Stephen McPhee. His home debut and impressive it was too. He seemed to run out of steam but still did more than enough IMO to guarantee himself a place in the starting line up.

Gary Taylor-Fletcher (GTF). He has improved superbly well this season IMO and has stepped up to the Championship very well. He hadn't played above League One before.

Another sell out home crowd.

Ipswich fans - they brought a lot of fans, probably about 1,500. A good turnout for such a long trek up to the North West and for a team who haven't won away since March 2007. There again they were in 7th place before kick-off.

Bad points -

Andy Welsh - came on in the second half for GTF and put in some horrendous crosses.

Losing shape and cohesion. What on earth happened after they had the player sent off I don't know.

Ipswich fans - for a set of fans who have come a long way to support their club, and who brought a lot of fans, they were deathly quiet. Hardly heard a peep out of them all afternoon.

Oh and it seems more and more fans are getting fed up about the non-development of the South Stand and the refusal of the club to even communicate with fans about it. Two new chants were heard today -

"Oyston, Oyston wheres the stand? Oyston, wheres the stand?" and

"Two stands, we've only got two stands; we've only got two stands; we've only got two stands"

Superb points -

Stoke City 3 PKE 1 :D
