I think that also has to do with the FG compared to SG model. I had both firm and soft in the 1's and I noticed the leather was considerably softer on the FG's for some reason.

you may be right considering i've only used the 1's in sg and the 2's in fg. why do you think they would make the fg with softer leather though? any thoughts?

maybe it's just that the leather on the Legends 2 are not as soft?

and are you sure you have Air Legends 2 and not Mystic 2?

I'm not sure if you were asking me this question or not but I'll respond anyway. I wasn't comparing legend 1's to legend 2's I was only referring to SG/FG. I have Legend 1's (made in italy) in both FG and SG and the firm ground ones are most definitely softer. They came that way...I've even treated and conditioned them with the same leather food.


I came to the conclusion that perhaps the SG ones had a slightly different type of leather just because they were intended for use in wetter conditions ...but who knows if that's an accurate assumption or not.

I actually love that tunit colourway too. I didn't like the design at first, and personally probably wouldn't wear them myself. But they look good i have to say that, when i see other people wearing them i think they look fantastic.

I've not been a fan of the f50 series in concept or in execution, but I reckon that ("invisible" window not withstanding) the .8s are the best aesthetically to date, and that colorway is dutch-tastic!
Prolly for the review thread but i can't help thinking the window is a blister factory....
