The ventos are so nice, its a boot with a lot of support especially around the heel and ankle. The kangaroo leather is nice and soft and the boot really hugs your foot all the way from the ball of your foot up through to your ankle. I forget when the were released but I got them for 100 bucks at a random soccer store I went to in Colonia, NJ... they had a few old lotto boots on clearance like the ones I got and some old Shevas and Zheros. As for the Shinken IIs... I've only played in them twice so I'll put up a full review after this Sunday when I play a full 90.

i just saw a picture of the new Lotto's with the "twist and go" technology, but I don't really see how they work. Does anyone know the deal with these boots?

Theory goes something along the line of... the front stud under the big toe on each foot is supposed to help you make turns quicker because it rotates.

Key word there is "theory".

I feel like I would 'twist' my ankle in those Twist N Go's

I'm not sure how it works but it is also supposed to help prevent knee injuries. This is also a "theory" though.

it sounds like a lot of theories that basically are just another gimmick

Give me a pair, my knee's so wrecked we'll find out how good they are sooner rather than later.

That blue has to be my fav. colourway for the lV's. When you get the light flashing off it at different angles it it changes colours it looks wonderful

Thats what i love about them, and its only when you see them in person you realise how great they look. Pictures never do them justice.

Eh... the blue is okay but its a little bland from afar for my liking. Out of the dark colorways for them, the black carbon SLs with the purple swoosh have to be nicest... if only they were cheaper...

Me too! Me, with my penchant for white boots, typically like things flashy but the orange MVIV's were waaay too flashy even for me. These though - pure class.

an idea of mine is to get some black talarias and go over the swoosh with some pink acrylic.

Could work, you would have to be pretty handy with a paint brush though I think.

But hey if you do it and it works out you definately have to show us the results :).
