Yeah true, but they just aren't Vapors if you know what I mean.

It's just a personal preference, but I have the previous generation Talarias and Vapors (III) and I slightly prefer the Talarias. They have been broken in more than the Vapors, so the Vapors still have some time to catch up. :)

omg you're the only other person with Umbro SX(and me of course :P)! How are you liking them?

I wore them for like 3 months and I really liked them but they werent that durable (the insoles had holes very quickly and designs on the "s" and "x" are chipping of a bit). And I have to admit that Kangaroo suede let in way too much moisture on wet days. I changed my socks at halftime a few times cuz my socks were soaked. I had to stop wearing them tho because I started having real pain the arch of my foot while wearing them, my podiatrist said it was "plantar fasciitis" and that I should wear some custom insoles to help with it. Well I got the insoles and wore them for a while but then I lost the insoles somewhere (not sure where, short version of the story I had too much to drink at a party and slept at a friends house then woke up without them lol). I decided to get new boots and maybe that would help and sure enough with my Ghost Strikers I never had the pain again. Amen for Mizuno.


Nice collection though! I think you are one of the few people i have seen who actually own a pair of Nomis. Do you wear them much?!

They're actually 2 years old, I wore them all of senior year in high school. Absolutely quality in the comfort department, the 2 insole system was a real breath of fresh air because I feel boot companies dont do enough to ensure their boots are really as comfortable as they could be. Forget saving weight, and save people from blisters and everything else. But yeah I loved those boots, I would've gotten another pair but they're pretty expensive and the first ones were a gift. I'd like to try a pair of the new dual control ones... I got a good feeling about those.

I'm really considering getting a pair of MVIII's to break my Vapor cherry. They're going really cheaply on eBay these days due to the MVIV's coming out.

LOL I know what you mean the retail was pretty high on them, but I actually got my SX boots on ebay in an auction I won for 100 bucks +whatever the shipping was. So the price wasnt so bad in my case, but I totally agree with you on how cool they looked. I got a lot of compliments on them and probably even more "why are you wearing two different boots" questions lol.

Anybody who has had the old vapors and has the vapor III's notice the vapor III's are bigger in fit than the older ones? Like not just in width but in length too. Cause i wear a 10.5 in vapors I and II but in IIIs id probably wear a 9.5.
