Sunderland is coming to WHL this Saturday and I still have that bitter taste after we lost to them opening day at their place. After a nice 1-0 win over reading (yeah 1 to nil) I'm hoping we continue winning and I don't see why we can't at home. Berbs should be healthy and so should King and hey I hope gunter gets some PT, I'd like to see how he does. Keep Cerny in goal!
With that I see us winning at home 4-2 because you know the lane is all about goals :D
Berbs, Steed, and Keane with 2!
oh yeah so this game is on major delay television wise on FSC at 4pm but I know online should be working for the game.

Could use some of those but I'm afraid I may drop dead from a massive heartattack after the pot of coffee I've already had. At what point has caffiene stopped working?

Chivers I remember well, but Peters and Lee

Do we rest anyone for the Carling Cup game in midweek? Are we confident enough of beating Sund'Ireland to do that?
I say not, especially as we are just 4 points out of a relegation place still, and this is a team that is below us. Superior to them in every department, except goalie. 3 points is a must, but I wouldn't be surprised at a frustrating draw.
Steed is suspended IIRC.

Hahahahahahaha. I don't know what to say. I meant Martin Peters and Lee Young-Pyo, but my tongue in cheek comment cant match the hilarity that Peters and Lee was actually a band and you found it (or actually remembered it).

Hopefully we'll get back to winning ways after our loss at Chelsea.

No way...I want to lose!
;)
I can't see us losing this one. I'm comfortable going with 3-1.

It is being reported that Broadway Danny Rose will be a sub for this game. For those of you who don't know, we signed Rose from Leeds in the summer and he's a 17 year old left winger who has been the most impressive player for the academy/reserves this season. Let's hope things are going well enough that he gets a run.

Word has it that Defoe is captain.
And Hudds is in the back with Dawson. That's anything but speed.

I'm going to sign off and stay away until I can watch this on FSC at 4:30 pm.
With that defense, I'll revise my prediction and say 4-2 Spurs.

Ditto, Mattie. That is a seriously strange lineup. Ramos must REALLY not like Kaboul. I want see Jenas boss this game.

Wow, Ramos is saving everything for the next game. How on earth do we start the less-than-mobile Dawson with the lead-footed Huddlestone in the back is beyond me. Then to flank them with the poor-defending Lee and completely rusty old sub Staltieri ... wow, even Roy Keane's got to be smelling goals. If not, surely Cerny cannot hide the defense's "Free Goals Here" sign all by himself.
Then the defense is protected in midfield by "Ohmyyoumeanimsupposedtodefendtoo?"Hara and the "ifyoucan'tbeatemthenbeatemup" Boateng. Unless Jenas has a blinder, we may just lose this one!!!
Luckily we have enough strikers to make any combo look good.
I'm optimistically calling this 3-2 Spurs.

C'mon guys. Ramos has seem Sunderland like we have. They have no defense and two offensive threats in Jones and Richardson. Funny enough they have Boateng on Richardson to rough him up and hopefully neutralize him. And Hudds might be slow but he was brought up to be a CB.
While I think its more important that we win this than the Arsenal game, you gotta love Ramos' commitment to the cup and his confidence that we can win this game with what we would be generous to call our "C" backline.
