Two mids and a forward. Talk about things that make you go "hmmm".
Somewhat surprised Cops is not trying to fill in some of those gaping holes in the back line, but maybe being able to hold onto the ball longer will help.
Anyone know when Matejovsky may start? Is Nwoko more of a defensive mid?

Hmmm...the interest in Kebe makes me wonder how long Lita is expected to stay with the Royals. I doubt Coppell would be looking for another forward unless he thought someone was leaving.
Both these guys also seem like young, long-term signings though. Kebe is currently playing in the French second division, although it is a loan, and Nwoko is playing for recently promoted Leixoes and has so far only had three caps for the Maltese national team, which isn't known for being a football powerhouse.
Anyone ever seen either of these guys playing before? Who knows, maybe they're better than the squad affiliations suggest.

You Tube video of Nwoko (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WkutSfteM4w&NR=1)
Don't feel obligated to watch all 9:30 like I did - there's nothing new or interesting on the 2nd half. He is definitely good with the ball at his feet and likes to take on players, but the defenders looked like they were being paid to help him make his promotional DVD.

the Reading papers today say we are not interest in kebe. Doesnt mention Nwoko but it also says we are close to signing an 'experienced premiership defender'.

The ROS says (http://www.readingfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10306~1217745,00.html)the Club have enquired about Kebe (a Sky article, with quotes from Kebe, talked about there being a problem with his loan club), but are not interested in Nwoko.

The same Anthony Gardner that hasn't played in a match since August?
The same Anthony Gardner hasn't played a half a season since he joined the Spurs?
The same Anthony Gardner whose leg has seen more plaster than Michelangelo (the artist, not the ninja turtle)?

Looks like we also might sign a keeper as well. Wojciech Kowalewski is going to practice with the reserves and if he does well, we might sign him. He is a free agent, so he would be free.

Coppell has confirmed interest in Kebe and Kowalewski. Kebe's loan club Boulogne doesn't want to release him as he is on a season long loan. Lens, the club to which he is contracted has agreed to his release on a free transfer. His contract is up at the end of the season so at worst we could sign him then as he seems eager to sign with us.
Kowalewski has been training with the team and may be signed as cover for the rest of the season.
There is no interest in Nwoko and there is speculation of signing a defender from an English club.

Are you sure it's not Bolton's Ricardo Gardner?

the rumour is definitely about Anthony Gardner and why would we be signing a 30yr old left back/midfielder. I hope its not either of them

Of the 2, I'd rather see Reading land Bolton's Gardner. He hasn't missed a minute of play since the last week in September. The Spurs' Gardner hasn't seen a minute of play since August.
