Here is a link to the MOD broadcast of the United v Spurs match in 1964. For all you youngsters out there, here is a chance to see Charlton, Law, Best, etc.

It's hosted on a website called stage6. There is NO registration required. When you hit play, it will prompt you to download a DVIX web player. Just hit run when the prompt comes up. it only takes a few seconds. There are no viruses or anything. This is a beta site for DVIX content. They have a lot of TV shows, music videos etc., too. It's actually a very cool site.

You can also download it too. But you still need the DVIX player.

Sorry... I just corrected my post. There is NO registration required.

Great watch, thanks for taking the time to post it. It's fun to see the legends that are talked about (Best, Charlton, Law,...) playing. It seems that these guys played some flashy football as well. It's also interesting to see the pitch that these guys played on, and the different ways that the game flows.

Im in the middle of watching the game now and a few things come to mind

1. Without a doubt the level now is much higher.
2. I never realized the kind of qualities Charlton had, great passing and ball control
3. The keepers did not wear gloves all the time, only when it was slippery or something, which seems very odd today
4. The players could harass or pressure the keepers when the keeper were in possession of the ball (even in their hands)
5. LOL at Law could reach the ball and jumps up and grabs the ball near the penalty box and just puts in down. Not only that NO ONE would try that today, it would be a yellow or even a red, but nothing happens:D
