Help! My daughter is playing indoor soccer on a much harder surface this year. She has never had much trouble tearing her knees up but the local turf is giving her terrible bruises and rug burns.

What do you wear on your knees when playing keeper indoors?

if i know i'm going to be sliding alot, I'll just wear a pair of light training pants.

Guys in my league wear volleyball knee pads, seem to work well.

When I play indoors I wear shorts as normal and coat my knees in vaseline.

Just a personal preference though as I find trousers (pants) to much for me.

Buy grappling knee pads. They are really flexible because grappling requires knee movement and they will prevent scrapping.

In school my team played on dirt, field turf and indoor basketball courts. On turf I always wore pants, but on indoor I usually wore volleyball knee pads and padded goalie pants. However our indoor goals were much lower and wider so as goalie I was diving and falling everywhere. And I just hope you never have to play on dirt.

Indeed volleyball pads will help, or wear the pants with built in padding.

I found the knee padding in the goalie pants were not enough on a hardcourt. But on Field Turf I think it should be okay for rug burns.
