Some fecknut in Iceland is selling kits commemorating the Munich disaster!Sports brand Henson, which is an Icelandic company, is set to publish a special kit in rememberance of the Munich air disaster in '58, where 8 United players were killed. A part of the profits will go to a special fund which will be used to get one of the survivors of the crash to come to Iceland and surprise him with a money gift.

"A part of the profits..." BULLSHIT! We Can NOT Allow This! Profiting from The Darkest Day in Man Utd's history!
There is a comment box where you can leave your views on what an butt munch this idiot is. Let him have it with both barrels!
EDIT: Now that I've calmed down a little bit, I see the link I posted is simply a link to the news story, not the actual page of the actual manufacturer. I've been Googling trying to find the company's actual page but haven't had any luck yet. If I find it, I'll post it.
I'm *still* plenty pissed off though...

I'm selling commemorative minature chocolate candies that come in different colours and they are each marked with an "M". It works for both Munich and Manchester.
I call them "M & M"s for short.

Here is my message.
To whom it may concern;
Your rampant profiteering and exploitation of the Munich disaster is absolutely deplorable and despicable. If you have any honor or decency, you would not make ANY profit from the death of the United players 50 years ago. If you had any decency, you would either NOT make this kit OR DONATE THE FULL PROFIT from each kit sold. Instead, you extortionists will take money from one of the greatest tragedies in world sport. You should be ashamed of your pathetic actions. I will email the Club about this mockery, and hopefully your cheap kits will be destroyed before anyone has the chance to line your pockets.
Feel free to copy this and send it on from yourselves.

NM if you can give any help on Phil Townsend, I'll try and have a go.
I'm emailing Pete Holland at the USA supporters club, and if I can find an email address for MEN I'll do that as well.

I don't have his email but if it's on his profile I'll do so.
So far I've emailed -
Pete Holland at MUUSA
The Sports Desk at Manchester Evening News
The Club's General Enquiries, Merchandise, etc
I can't find Phil Townsend at the club, but I'm hoping some of the above people have contacts within the actual club.

Just got this response from TomClare - got us beat as usual :o
Hi Sumit,
We already knew about this and it has been given the maximum publicity that we could. All the Supporters Groups are on the case as are most of the United Forums. The Club have actually spoken to the firm concerned but they are powerless to stop what they are doing, and they have certainly unequivocally NOT given their blessing to the venture.
The company's website has been bombarded with furious fans, and to be honest, I think that they are on a sure fire loser with this product as I can't see many people purchasing that shirt.
Kindest regards
Tom
I feel a bit of an idiot now, after emailing all those people. :o Sad to see that nothing can be done about this, even by the club, so at this point the best protest is just not to give that f**kin company a shard of attention.

You've no reason to feel like an idiot. As it turned out we simply added our voices to the discussion, and the word has gone out that no True Red should support that company by purchasing that kit. Mission Accomplished.

Amen, there's always hope that a deluge of emails these last few weeks could halt this all together.
