I'm heading to the Swiss friendly at Wembley. Never been there. Just wondering, are there any decent pubs nearby the staduim?
Id rather get a beer close to the staduim rather than in London and the spend an hour getting there.

Also, do they serve beer in the staduim?

Ive been to a few web sites but they aren't up to date on the new staduim.

Cheers.

you need to go down onto Wembley high street to find the pubs. Cut off Wembley way by one of the program seller trailers, through McDonalds car park and you'll be on the high st. You can usually buy booze inside Wembley for friendlies, not for qualifying matches.....

Word of warning a lot of the pubs on the high street wont let you in on a match day unless you can charm your way past the bouncers. Not been to the new wembley yet but we always drink in the city first or if one of us drives we stop at one of the pubs nearby.

First Class Sports Bar is good.... it looks small from the outside but sometimes on matchday you can walk through the bar and they have a big marque out back which is usually packed with England fans... not sure if it will be this time of year though but worth a try...
