I'm glad to hear you are attending!! This derby is definitely on my must-see list. And, this season it is a must-win. Honestly, if we don't at least draw this match I think that morale-wise we are absolutely finished this season.

I like this - another BRFC on The Score. I think that's at least 3 or 4 now, whereas I don't think SportsNet has had even one yet. Plus I like the Score's pre-game coverage.
It looks like we'll have a number of injuries to contend with, but Santa Cruz will be back.
And on a completely unrelated note, having grown up watching Monty Python, I can't help but look at the name Bolton and think Notlob.

Notlab -- too funny.
No, Sportsnet hasn't featured Rovers yet, but then again they are only permitted to show one of the Saturday matches now. The Score is great -- if we have a Sunday match we are almost guaranteed to be the match on The Score. BTW you should try to win the trivia contest for the Umbro prize package -- I managed to win it already this season... lovely gifts -- a coach's long jacket, a hoodie, a gear bag, and a foot ball. Class gifts!

Here's a bit of trivia that you probably didn't know. During his playing career, Brian Budd of The Score played in the NASL for the Colorado Caribou - the team notorious for having the worst jerseys of all time - complete with frills.
For a photo see:

I have yet to find a photo of Budd wearing the Colorado Caribou kit.

Tee hee hee... hideous kit. Didn't Budd play in the SPL as well?
I have never seen Budd out in Toronto, but apparently he is a very annoying person to watch a match with. You know how he is such a loud-mouth on The Footy Show? Apparently he is much, much worse when he is watching a match in the pub. And, apparently he can put it back quite heavily, too!

As far as I know he only played in North American leagues, but it is a possibility.

I haven't seen him out myself, although last summer the Score did an attempt at covering a Toronto FC game with Sharman doing the PBP, Paul James doing colour and Budd doing the sidelines commentary. It was definitely not a role for him - they had to keep cutting him off because he would go on and on. I don't think they're going to try that set up again any time soon.

Nope - Budd wasn't in SPL; he was in NASL. Some interesting tidbits on him in Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Budd)...
Born in Toronto and raised in Vancouver, Budd was an all-around athlete in his youth. He was a competitive swimmer and was training to be a figure skater until he quit at age 14. He did not focus on soccer until he was 19 years old. In 1973, Budd had his throat slashed by a stranger at a party in Vancouver. He made a full recovery...
From 1977 to 1979, Budd won three straight Canadian Superstars competitions. His victories earned him a spot in the annual World Superstars contests, produced by U.S. broadcasters ABC Sports, which Budd won each time. That prompted the creation of a rule barring anyone from competing in a Superstars competition after their third victory—unofficially called the "Budd rule." Budd believed that ABC wanted him removed from the show because he was not well known to the American TV audience. His total winnings from the Superstars contests were about $170,000. However, it should be noted that American Superstars champions Kyle Rote, Jr. and Anne Henning were not invited back after their third victories in 1977 and 1978, respectively.

Notlab = Bolton
Yes, I made a quite ass out of myself by not realizing that early in my BRFC supporter days. I *still* sometimes get confused, but yet I *do* remember in time. What can you expect from a girl??? (tee hee hee).

I need more Cowbell..
No wait I need a Rovers win.
Which means someone must put the ball in the back of the net.
We also need to stop the crosses in front of our net.
I also want to see the Brad Freidel of last year putting a lid over the goal..
The time is now............................................
We need to score but I am not sure anyone can but Roque.......
He better play or we are in deep doooo doooooo..
See you all tomorrow Morn...
Time for more Ale

Good that Roque is playing.
Bad that Ooijer is playing..
Hopfully Bentley and MGP can get onthe same page and we can work some crosses in to Roque.
We need to watch out for Davies. He is a stud who knows how to score. With this being an away game we need to jump on these guys fast and hard. Get the crowd yelling at there own players......
I think we all know how that goes.
