3 - nil, Carew scores another. Not a good game for us.

EDIT: Harper scores! We're still going to lose, but at least we took away the shutout.

However, it's not enough and Villa wins 3-1.

I was looking at the schedule and it doesn't look good. I only see one clear chance for points before the beginning of March. Comming up we have ManU, Chelsea, Bolton, Everton and Ashton Villa again. Is anyone else nervous?

Yes, very nervous. I think we may be able to pull a result or two out of Everton, Bolton or Aston Villa (at the Madejski for Villa, right?), but will be very hard. Maybe Matejovsky will be amazing or something and really lock us in a winning mode (knock on wood).

22 games in and only 5 points clear of relegation.

Reading owns the record for most goals allowed on the road (32), and are tied with Derby for most goals allowed (47) overall. That's a little over 2 goals a match they're conceding to the competition.

Now we are only 2 points clear of relegation thanks to Sunderland's win today. We are still in a relegation battle and it will be tough to get points in our upcoming matches, but I think we'll take a few.

I think we can stay mid table but I was hoping to qualify for a UEFA bid. There is always next year??????
